How To Fix Front Wheels Pointing Different Directions Adjust Toe

mi steering wheel is on line with the left wheel , but the right one is a lil bit open to outside

@@fherzhodakid I had to re-adjust both sides of outer tie rods.. used the string method to adjust.. then I was fine..took it to alignment shop for Proper adjustment of everything.

I tried that on this Jeep liberty and all it does is throw the steering wheel off doesn't affect the toe in or out.still pulls to the right even after cranking it the direction needed. steering wheel will be off if I turn it any other direction.

@@jasonkoz8985 that's not possible. If your steering wheel position changed so did wheel toe

@jasonkoz8985 I agree with you. I had the same problem. This video solved it. I caused my problem though. I didn’t strap the steering down and I also turned the passenger tie rod in too much. As a result, one wheel was straight and the other turned inward. No matter how many times I went under the car to readjust it I just couldn’t get it right until I came across this video. Not only did he help me straighten up the wheels, it also solved my alignment problem. Front and back measurements were exactly the same.

If you hit something and immediately you’re wheels are pointing different directions, then most likely you bent something in the suspension

If the car was not in an accident adjusting the tie rods like I show in this video could be a simple fix to get you by till you can get an alignment done

If the car has been in an accident before sometimes its hard to say if it is a fixable problem. If no accidents then that shop is doing a terrible job lol. As a general rule of thumb, if the tires don't both point the same direction then it is an out of aligned tie rod / bent tie rod.

@@bluesxt I have a car I bought previous wreck and it’s AWD pulls to the left and right real fast and bad front right tire is closer to the fender than the other

Oh no haha been there before. Yes this method of adjusting the tie rod ends will get your toe back close enough so you can get to the alignment place. If the passenger side is still where it was and aligned with the steering wheel then only touch the driver side toe

Just put the axle back in and make sure there's a clip to prevent it from accidentally coming out
