I just did this on my 2022 F150, and it worked great. Code was 4210 and I changed it to 4211. Great to have this annoying issue fixed. Thank you!

Does anybody have any idea why Ford persists with this "Full View Not Available" (because the stupid box blocks the viewing area you need). Why is it even there? Big thumbs up!

Thanks for the video! Worked on my 2021 XLT. At least at first. Came back a couple hours later and the black box was back. Any ideas what i might be doing wrong? I've tried three times. In every case the black box was gone initially, then came back within a day.

? Tow Haul mode and rear tailgate camera view, do you get the warning text right in the middle of screen? Sucks because obstructs view of trailer

Yep. Don’t get it anymore after making the change in this video. You get the full view. No black box.

Nice video that’s the next thing I’ll do on mine!! I’m getting a blue screen whenever I access the bed camera. And I haven’t been able to find the replacement or maybe you know about it if it can be fixed somehow 🙏🏻

You can try a hard reset of your system. Press and hold the track forward button and the power button until the screen goes black. If that doesn’t work. Take it to Ford.

Is there any known risk in changing that setting? Or any warranty voiding or anything?

The dealer told me it voids warranty, I asked about the auto stop start. But I'm sure you can change settings back to factory without them knowing.

I am pretty certain no one would check that setting before giving you warranty work. I am not a dealer or do not work for ford. So I cannot guarantee it though.

The dealer would have to prove any modification affected whatever you took the vehicle in for warranty. For example a supercharger installation would not affect your window motor going out so you would still be under warranty.

I have a 2024 f150 and it has the tow package and it looks like it has the hardware installed on the suspension to have onboard scales however it is not installed in the software on the screen. Is there anyway to install it using the forscan program?

Did not work on 22 F150 Police Edition. The rear camera wpuld be nice for officer safety. That big box defeats the purpose.

I have a 22 fleet and I figured it was cuz it’s a fleet and they restrict certain things durning the manufacture of the vehicle but here he is proving a non fleet vehicle with the same issue. 🤦🏻‍♂️ wth ford

This did not work on my 2022. I've seen a few others it did not work for as well. Hopefully someone figures it out soon. I want to get rid of that box so bad!! lol

To be honest, Someone else figured it out. I read about it in a forum so the instructions were in text form. I just made a video of it to make it easy to follow along.

Using Livinitups cheat sheet I turned on the camera view rear while driving. Will this still work if I have that feature activated? 2021 F150 Platty.

If your sync 4 is up to date you can use the rear camera while driving. No cheat sheet required. What is your revision # of sync? The latest revision is 1049.

Not all settings have been converted over to the pretty section of Forscan. I don’t think it is in there. I think the Forscan developers are working to add the most used items to the pretty side but they might not have added this setting yet. Sorry.

Good one again Mitch. Got a NEW Issue that FORD Has Installed with the Latest Update to an Update??? The Update OTAed I think in March 23 was 6.2.0, they just overwrote it or sent a Patch that Screwed up the ability to simply go into the Sync System (settings and General), and send a "Message" to FORD to SEND FEED BACK, Wireless Update Not working. Now That has been "Removed" and put somewhere else??? And that's the Issue, (for me anyway) I can't find that "somewhere else"??? It say's something about FordPass App and look for a "NEW Record Feedback Microphone Icon"??? Ya sure, can someone tell me where to Find the Microphone Icon to Send Feedback?? I have called Ford OTA Hotline, and the 1-800 # and Not a one of them could figure this out. Anyone??? Anyone out there have this Issue??? Unbelievable that FORD can't figure OTA Updates out. And, I haven't gotten the BlueCruise OTA 1.3 to FIX This silly BlueCruise Drunk Driving Application?? Anyone know anything about that OTA Update. My 2022 F-150 is waiting for it. I Paid $1995.00 for it at Purchase.

I recently received the 6.8.0 update. Mine did go from 6.2 to 6.5 then jumped to 6.8. Got all those updates pretty quickly over the air. Still no BlueCruise 1.3 but I think(hope) it’s coming soon. I did notice they moved the feedback option to a send verbal feedback option. I haven’t tried to use it yet to see how and if it works.

My Latest Update on DEC 21st and is Current today 01/08/24 is Now 6.4.0. (REFINEMENTS TO IMPROVE CONNECTIVITY)??? Nothing on BlueCruise 1.3 to Date. Going on our SECOND YEAR of Ownership Now and Still BlueCruise Drives and Handles Like a DRUNKEN SAILOR! Unbelievable at this Point. FORD Should be sending out the Updates to there existing Paid for Customers in my humble opinion...

I agree. They should make it a priority to keep those that paid up to date. I haven’t experienced the “drunken sailor” issue you are experiencing. Mine seems to keep it centered fairly well. I still don’t trust it when I pass by a big truck. I grab the wheel and make sure it doesn’t get too close. I do think it will get better but it should be a priority for ford to improve this system since they are charging so much for it and wanting people to renew their subscription when the original purchase subscription runs out. They want people to pay $75/month or $750/year to use this. It needs to do better at that price. I could see paying that if it was a full package, (XM, Nav, BlueCruise, in truck WiFi). But it’s not worth their current asking price for “just” BlueCruise.

That's so True Mitch, for the $1995.00 we paid on the STICKER PRICE of this $87K F-150, we should be nothing but Priority #1! And for FORD to be Porking us for that $1995.00, and not keeping us up to date is just not right. And if they don't start getting there Act together we are certainly NOT going to Re Up on the Subscription to it again. Our Roads / Highways that we Use this on are pretty decent and it still can't negotiate a very slight Curve with asking to take over, and then it Re Engages like in 20 or 30 Seconds??? And the TRUCK / BIG RIG thing 😂😂😳, That's really scary. On a Straight Highway Like I5 in Southern California it's got No Problem's, Get to a TURN, and It's LOST! The Wife HATES IT!
