I have a 18’honda accord 1.5 and I currently have 9 warnings on my dashboard with all different lights on since brake system to steering problems and my scanner is giving me this P0172 code, from what Ive been reading and researching this 1.5 turbo engines are not well manufactured and it is going to cost me to replace all fuel injectors and honda is only gives you 12 months warranty.!
I hava a 2013 2.4 sport just hit 200k a few days ago. I had the boot replaced due to stalling and hesitation found the boot had a tear. It still hesitates have a p0172 code. What do you suggest?
I have the same problem with the same car. Recently changed my side mount for vibrating when the a/c is on and lags at acceleration but still have the same problems recently received this code too
i have same error, but in the dashboard of car, turn on the different lights (is Releasing of breaks and system, etc), and my car have LAG when i accelerate the car, i was change the pedal for a new one, and the LAG was decreasing, but at this moment the lag is increasing, today I was Scanning my Honda Civic 2017, and scanner gave me a P0172. my Civic have a bank, would i replace the Oxygen sensor? and clean the MAF Sensor? or it´s probably that injector bank 1 is break?
I have honda jazz 1.3l 2009 model...it has p0172 code..but when erase the error code using scanner ,it disappeared ..but after 10-15 days it appeared again..
My 2018 Accord 1.5T just had a fuel injector fail at 58k error code P0172 (posted on my channel). Modern Honda look amazing but once the 3yr/36k warranty expires you're on your own and you have no idea how expensive modern Honda engines are to fix. Oil changed at 80%, Shell regular used 80% of the time, always did warm up the car in the winter. Dealer so out of touch they recommended brake fluid replacement at 30k. I've never seen this part fail in ANY of my past cars. When asked why the injector failed so early Dealer said they see them all the time and cost of replacement is $1600-$2500 (must replace all 4) and the new injectors warranty is only for 12k/12mos! I was in love and bought the 1st Accord on the lot with series ending in -0001 but when I made a case with Honda to see if it could be part of a bad batch all I got was the VM of the case manager for weeks on end. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice...
Yeah my mother bought a 2018 CRV with the 1.5l and has had electrical problems since she got it with 45k. Plus the other modern upgrades have fallen short also. The body style previous to this was almost perfect with reliability. This have made her want a Toyota/Lexus.
Upstream is usually the one that causes problems. The downstream is after the catalytic converter and is basically there to just read if the catalytic converter is doing it’s job.
I get this code al9ng w p1457. It feels like it wants to shut off. Sometimes when I make a turn it shuts off my car. The code p1457 came out a couple months ago and then this cold just came in a couple weeks ago
