One of the best tutorials in troubleshooting in general. Very clear, concise, to the point. I came on RU-vid because my Hoover Windtunnel Pro stopped working suddenly. I am going to let it cool off and in the mean time go through the steps you provided to clear blockage and clean it , and wait until it cools off to try again. If you are not into teaching as a teacher or professor, then you should be! You have the rare gift to teach and be understood! Thank you so much!
Thank you SOOO much for this video. We couldn't figure out where the issue was & were just about to toss it out & go buy another vacuum. After watching your video, it was literally just a couple of minutes before we had a working vacuum again. We appreciate you taking time to film & post this!
Same happened to me I was using it then out of nowhere just turned off and won’t want to turn on back again it’s brand new I just used like 3 times already and this happened in my 4th use . But it turn back again the next day 😅. Was about to throw it away.
I’m so glad I found your video! I amazed my husband when I showed him what was causing the problem. I also showed my teens and proved my point that just because you can vacuum something up, doesn’t mean you should!
Thank you!!! My windtunnel wasn't working properly, and shut off after a short time, despite me cleaning all the obvious parts.. I took it apart now, cleaned everything again, and used a broom stick to clean out the hose as you suggested- and now it works like new. THANK YOU!!!
Many thanks for making this great video. I love Hoover's but my current one has really challenged me with recently shutting off. I followed your tips and now it works again.
Thank you so much for this video. My vacuum just shut off in the middle of using it and I had no idea why because the green spot never turned red indicating that the filter needed to be cleaned. After cleaning the filter as you instructed, the next day I reassembled it and the vacuum worked perfectly again. I was afraid I was going to have to buy a new one already. Great video sir! 👍
You just saved me some $ my friend... thank you. Hose was blocked way down at the bottom where it bends back up to the twist connection. Much appreciated 👍
VERY HELPFUL!!! This has been a good vacuum for me. Still going strong after six years. I keep it emptied and clean when needed until recently my son moved back home with his dog and somehow the canister and hose were completely filled and clogged. My fault. I was in a hurry and didn’t notice until the vacuum shut off and wouldn’t start again. I saw how clogged it had become and was grieved thinking I had ruined a perfectly good vacuum. I saw this video and realized there was hope. I cleaned it out, it cooled off and now I have a perfectly good vacuum once again. Thanks for taking time to post this information. You explain it well and are an awesome teacher. Could you do a video on how to stop a dog from shedding? lol jk Anyway, thanks again!!
I just found this gem of a video! Problem was that last clog...dryer sheet and a whooole lotta other stuff! 😆Vac is running like brand new, again! Thank you so much.
@@trackpalmer I did a second tear down and cleaned up EVERYTHING and EVERYWHERE this time. The dust was so thick on the inner parts that it became water-proof! I had to wipe it hard under water and scrub it with an old tooth brush to get that fine dust off. - first time cleaning it internally. I bought it maybe 6-10 years ago. I am letting it all dry out overnight and will re-assemble it in the morning and try it again. Thank you again for the help!
Thank you. I just recently found that hepa filter by accident. I pulled in the little handle thinking to lift the vacuum to carry it downstairs. I haven’t seen anyone else mention it and want sure about hand washing it. Thanks again!
@@trackpalmer Thank you for making this video. ❤ It is very helpful. What the person making the comment is talking about is that there is an additional HEPA filter that is located towards the bottom of the vacuum you can pull it straight out. The HEPA filter gets dirty too and needs to be cleaned or replaced as well.
So we can’t get the red part out of the filter assembly. I want to clean all of those small holes on the clear plastic outside. My bottle brush got some of it. I got lots of gunk out of the hose. Thanks for your help ❤️
My model is different than yours. We got the plastic flange at the bottom of the filter assembly off and then Undid the screws and the red part and bottom tube came free, so we could clean it. Now just waiting for the filter to dry.
