Muchas gracias! . I was getting paper jams after it printed about 8 pages initially and then after every 4 or 5 of pages after that .I followed your instructions today and it worked perfectly again after I followed your instructions . For those who do not understand Spanish the translation of the message displayed in the video is as follows - In Spanish the message is ..." Hay que limpiar los restos de pegamento de la cinta original y poner cinta aislante en donde apoya el brazo"... Translated to English this says ..." You have to clean the remains of glue from the original tape and put insulating tape where the arm rests".... See this in the video .
Muchas gracias!
When removing the side cover there is an additional step not shown in the video . I had to depress a catch ( similar type as shown in the video under the side panel ) on the bottom rear right hand side ( with the front of the printer facing you ) and pull out the rear bottom panel on the right hand side slightly to release the right hand side cover at at the bottom rear . Also I would advise removing the toner cartridge before putting the printer on its side to access the catch on the bottom of the right hand side panel or bottom rear panel - you don't want toner spilling out inside the printer .
I watched this video and didn't under exactly other than take it apart Watch Erik Cappa similar video in English. He suggest to take apart and clean as mine was junked. I didn't change my multiple pages. I reviewed this video again and added tape as suggested. FIXED... Thank you for your video.
Thank you thank you thank you! Worked just like a charm. The hardest part was removing the plastic side panels. Memo to others: There are 5 black screws on the back of the printer that all need to be removed to be able to remove the side panel. I removed the other side's side panel as well because it seemed to be easier.
@@MrMacDroadrunner I had figured it out soon after posting that message two yrs ago, and the printer has been working solidly ever since. I'm amazed that this printer has stood the test of time since I got it ages ago, being very good with its usage of toner and now reliability since this fix 2 yrs ago. It's in constant daily use. Thanks again.
