Thanks for the video! My ASUS ROG needed a recovery and it got stuck on 64%. I downloaded a win10 recovery file from microsoft and put it on a USB (with another PC) Then I started the ASUS and pressed F2, changed boot order to USB stick and it was no problem from there on. Best Regards Nils

My pc just turns off within 5secs been on 64% restart loop for about 3 weeks think I need to get a new hard drive

I do not have CD or usb drive ... is there any other way to fix this problem..

finally, in my case i stuck on 64% but in the blue screen installing process of win10. in HP desktop that i use, we just have to try pressing esc or f9 repeatedly. then we could escape to the Boot mode. alhamdulillah. hope it helps. otherwise it's a possible hardware problem too btw

Thanks but it didn't work for me, *The solution that worked for me* Getting my files back + reboot the PC using linux: I created a linux installation usb. (there are tutorials online, I chose to use the Mint Cinnamon ISO and Rufus to put it on the key) Put the usb in PC, start, press F12, select the USB. I chose the OEM mode, then DO NOT complete the installation, "quit" to arrive on the linux desktop. Now take your time as you can access all your files to save it on another usb/external hard disk. Then start the installation and fully boot your PC. I kept linux as I'm fed up of windows, but you can now repeat that process only with a window installation ubs (there are microsoft tutorials on how to do that).

This is working bro... Help me to fix windows 10 lenovo ideapad... I attempted to reset my computer to factory settings . I went on RU-vid and found a video. i went on and did what they told me and my computer pulled up another screen that showed the installation was at 64%. then it began to restart several times. I thought this was part of the procedure so i left the computer on all night hoping that it would stop restarting. Its been about 30 hours and has not stopped restarting and it will not proceed with the installation.
