I had the same issue on my iphone, followed the video and now it works perfectly. It is not (or not only) adding pressure to the connectors, but also insulating them from the LCD metal chassis. In fact, I didn't put back the square metal cover, if I did I would have the issue back again. Nor did I put back the metal latch of the front cable, it stays in place as well. Thanks for the video, helped a lot.
Hi there I wanted to try this out on my phone did you put the paper in between the connectors and metal guard or did you leave me metal guard out? Also what paper did you use thanks
Cause I didn’t get a I’d touch to go along with my logic board but that doesn’t matter wi try the touch screen right what if I just remove the metal piece and don’t put the plastic or whatever that was over it would that still work possibly
damn dude thanks a lot! my old iphone 5S now can function again just because of a thick piece of paper to give an extra pressure to the position of IC U15 (controls touchscreen). nice help!
thanks dude. i almost went insane by suffering from the defect touch. just put some paperpieces between connectorbacks and the metalshroud, and it works fine.
So your just adding pressure to the connectors? Is this because the solder joints on the boards connector has gone bad? What were the symptoms? What was the phone not doing or doing wrong? I am looking for a fix for ghosting, is that what you are doing? Some talking or some type of description would make a much better video. Thanks anyway.
try thicker paper a bit, by folding it again BUT NOT TOO THICK! carefull damaging you LCD. i just did that trying from thin alumunium paper from cigarette pack folding it 4 to 5 times. the 5 times folding works for me.

No explanation no description of what you did nothing to help anyone except show how you opened it. And you didn’t even show it was working 100% next time try explaining and use a iPhone you have a password to. SMDH
