How To Fix iPhone 6 Plus Unresponsive Screen 

four years later tried this after trying every single thing under the sun, and this worked. i am mind blown. this is after 12 fricking hours of my screen being unresponsive, mind you my home button is broken and I couldn't do a forced restart and didn't want to lose my data with a recovery. 2018 still happening - I dropped my iPhone 6 and this problem started happening. It's annoying af, even if you try and replace the screen it'll still do that. So save your money, but what I figured out while trying to solve this issue is: a) If you put it in a freezer or use a blow dryer (to make it colder or hotter) it'll work for a few minutes before it ends up doing it again. b)Also if you press hard and hold under the camera area, you'll be able to use it, but that's until you let go. So I personally suggest, signing out of your iCloud with one of those methods, and force resetting it so everything deletes. Then sell it online or some (that's what I'm currently doing) and purchase another iPhone that's not in the 6 category. Please like this so others can see.

I put pressure on the top part of the phone gripping it when the screen becomes unresponsive. But not too much force unlike in this video. Most often it works again.

Because the touch ic is getting out of contact to the board it need to be heated so the solder of the touch ic well attach again properly on to the board

ATTENTION!!! Look this really helped me and what he is saying is totally correct. But it kept happening again to me, so if this is the same case with you this is what I recommend you to do: open your iphone, as you can see at the bottom of the phone near the home screen button there are two nails. You take them off and open the iphone. And as this person tells in the video, on your opened iphone near the camera there are some three wires(idk how they are called) and most probably one of them is not fitting properly in their place and that’s why your screen is not working. Once you open it you will understand what I’m saying. So basically all you have to do is put those wires into the right place and you will not have this problem once again. I hope this helps

The iPhone 6 I just bought is working sometimes, and just sometimes it suddenly stops working the screen just lags. I tried this and it really helped, when you said this isn't a permanent fix you were lying man.

My phone has been perfect for a year and a half spent 1000 bucks for my apple iPhone 6 plus and after the update, my phone would not work. I believe you have the proof along with others for a Class Action. I am not sure what to do as I need my phone? I will try and contact Apple for a response.

Apple just recently announced a discounted repair program for this exact issue. I stated in the video that a recall was likely on the horizon. Link is in the description for details. It's discounted from the regular $329 flat rate repair cost instead of free because Apple states that this issue is a result of the device being "dropped on hard surfaces and further stress." Apple is only accepting half of the blame for this issue with their flawed design, which is also them indirectly saying that customers should accept their half of the blame for dropping their phone when it shouldn't ever be dropped. This is the first Apple recall/repair program where the full cost of the repair was not covered by Apple.

Also, Where i bent it was upper right corner. Not exactly on the screen itself but, to the right of the earpiece line. Bend from the back inwards like you are in the video. IT worled for me for now. thanks... Hope this helps someone else as well.

I IPhone 6 plus is to the point where the screen is not responding at all even with bending and pressing. A temporary fix for me is to heat the phone's back and front side with a hair dryer. Just don't let it get too hot.

one video said to either hard reset it by pressing the home button and the lock button until you see the apple logo or to reset all of your settings and that's located in the settings under general under reset orrr to completely wipe your iphone, as in like your iphone will be like brand new. (if you do the last method make sure you backup your iphone first.)
