@@vutomy Yeah, even now I only have the 1050 TI and run it at 80+ FPS on High settings. Even in Duisburg TMP I get 50fps. The main thing you've gotta do is until the Depth of Field box, and disable Anti Aliasing and the Setting below. (200% Scaling) Makes absolutely no difference in graphics, but absolutely eats FPS.
Bruh, 3060ti with 2k monitor - 50-80 fps on high/ultra settings and 125% scalling.. IDK what kind of pc I need to run this at 165hz ( or at least 120hz constantly )
For all you people with mods also remember to check for outdated mods. Some mods that still come out as "COMPATIBLE" may still be outdated and by used in game. if you're wondering why your modded engines or such is lagging or crashing your game just delete it!
First Method How To Fix Crashing Your Game: If the game crashed after few seconds after starting the game, just delete the Steam folder from: Local Disk/Users (This Means: Your PC User Name)/Public/Public Documents and just delete the Steam folder and after you start your game, go to your Profile and uncheck Steam from there and that's it. The ''Promods DLC Support'' zip file don't extract, just put it in the mod file from Euro Truck 2 folder in Documents. This zip file is for online play with your friends. Euro Truck Simulator 2 don't read rar file, ETS2 only read zip file. If you see folders like def folder and, and, and in the zip (rar) file, don't extract this file, just put it in the mod folder in Euro Truck Simulator 2 in Documents and when you start your game, go to mod manager and click 2x on the mod, or just click on the right file to add the mod and click agree, then start the game and play. If the game crashed, in 99% is one of the Mods the problem. Second Method How To Fix Crashing Your Game: Copy the crack in the install folder. Allow the ETS2 app through Windows Defender Firewall, go to Control Panel, on the top right search bar write F, then click on Windows Defender Firewall, after that click on Allow an app of future through Windows Defender Firewall, then click on change settings, then click on down below on ''Allow another app'', then click on Browse..., then find the folder where you installed the game, click on the ETS2 exe, than click open, than click on Add, then check Private and Public and click on OK, restart your PC and that's it. Heres are some tips that might help some of you (I get decent fps, but ive noticed these with experience) - When cruising, if your pc is a complete potato, avoid using the 1st View (Cabin View) because there is a lot to render. Instead use the 4th (roof view) or 6th (bumper view), as these should increase your fps Avoid cities like Bakersfield, Las Vegas etc (ATS) ( Add them as a new avoid location so you dont travel through them (unless your delivering to them)) Turn off secondary vehicle lights Avoid using the double floating mirrors, unless you are using a view outside the truck, if in the cabin, use the built in ones :) Try these, you will definitely have an improvement in frames :) Good luck and God bless !!
enable the nvidia overlay from Geforce Experience, or you can use the gamebar by pressing Windows Key+G, then click on Performance(it should look like a monitor) and there you can see the FPS
I'm using the crack version of Ets 2 1.47 from skidrow and it's lagging when on ultra settings, but on Ets 2 1.48 crack version from elamigos is smooth while on ultra settings. Why the hell? Edited: I figured it out, it seems i played the 32bit exe file of the game instead of 64bit
is scaling something like FSR or DLSS? Just to mention, I have GTX 1050 and my settings by default were high which worked fine (in some cities fps drops to 40~50ish and also I am using Promods). Now I use combination of medium and high settings just to have constant 60fps. Also, are there any settings that are eating fps and that are not required to have nice image? P.S. great video ^^
its common to have fps drop when entering a city, even if you are using a powerful card. also, using promods with an ownable trailer can cause fps drop, and owning more garages with drivers and trucks and trailers can also reduce fps especially on a budget card.
What!? You have a 1050 and your frames drop to "40 or 50 ish" I get 25 on the highway, I'd be lucky to get 30, forget even 20 in cities. I have a 1050ti !
@@tobydavis1370 are you sure that your GPU is ok? Drivers maybe? Or your CPU is bottleneck? GTX 1050 mobile (I have HP gaming laptop) handles ETS 2 easily on high in 1080p. I just tweaked some settings to have constant 60fps while game still looks great. Also using mods and especially map mods makes game more system demanding but not by much
Ambient Occlusion is such a waste of resources in most games, I dunno why devs don't just cook the occlusion directly in the frigging textures. Most of the time you can't barely see the difference. DOF is another joke, where you waste more to see less.
I am experiencing stuttering in ATS whenever I go to Montana the frame drops to 8 FPS and stays there until I restart the game. I have a new but decent laptop with i3-1115G4, Intel UHD and 8 GB RAM. When I first played the game it gave me constant 60 FPS with custom settings between high and ultra. I tried removing the mods from the folder but it didn’t help.
@@madcrasher1419 I only tried it once and never again since I brought the laptop because I knew it’d be fried. I only play on 100% scaling. Everything else is on low
I use crack version. But it starts lagging when set to ultra settings. My graphics card model is Gigabyte Rtx 4070ti Oc gaming. Please let me know what else I can do. Because I did the settings after watching your video and there is no solution. I am speaking from Bangladesh.

If anyone needs to fix lag and play with hdr and high texture i can help. Without any edit in config file. The game is always can playable in low end pc. Its very easy. I get some lag first after i used my mothednow im playing with hdr and high texture quality
Actually i used ur settings and all vlogers. But it looks like potato graphics. I already played ets2 2years back. And that time i used hdr. And now i started to play ets2 again and i lost my graphics. And the solution is in my pc. "I used another mod map and bus mod. Then it fixed my lag. The trucks in ets2 and the map is problem for low end pc" ets v1.30 - 31. My spec Ram - 8gb Intel core i3-2370m Intel hd 3000 No lag in my ets2 when i used icrf and bus mods
Bro I have ryzen 3 3100 and gtx 1070 and 16gb ram my game always drops fps from like 100 to 50 and then get back i tryed to put settings from ultra to high but again same problem and its really annoying

Yes, it also differs whether you get it directly from ets2 or from mods. I used to have a truck with about 100 lights and it made my fps from 150-40. its pretty hard to load all those miniature pixels in those lights.
In the menu i get like 120fps but in game i get like 20 fps also im in berlin so when i get out of berlin the fps will be good im using promods (71) mods
Which Card are you using? Are you owning multiple trailers? Are you owning Multiple Garages with workers and truck Are you using a graphic mod? Or any Map combo Or Ai traffic pack?

if you have a limited budget then instead of choosing a 1650 go with amd rx 6650xt, you will get more fps or just buy a 3050 but for me nvidia is a complete scam
