Hi does adblue liuqi molly clean crystals if u add it in the adblue tank
@sanumotorswithcharlie
@sanumotorswithcharlie 14 дней назад
AdBlue, also known as Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), is a solution used in selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions from diesel engines. It consists of 32.5% urea and 67.5% deionized water. Adding anything other than DEF to the AdBlue tank, including products like AdBlue Liuqi Molly Clean, is not recommended and can potentially harm the SCR system. If you're experiencing issues with crystallization or contamination in the AdBlue tank, it's crucial to follow the manufacturer's guidelines for cleaning and maintenance. Here are some steps you might consider: 1. **Consult the Vehicle Manufacturer's Manual**: Always refer to the vehicle or engine manufacturer's manual for specific instructions regarding the AdBlue system. They may have recommended cleaning procedures or products. 2. **Use Approved Cleaning Products**: Only use cleaning products specifically approved for AdBlue systems. Adding unapproved substances can damage the SCR system and void warranties. 3. **Regular Maintenance**: Ensure that the AdBlue tank and system are regularly maintained according to the manufacturer's schedule to prevent issues like crystallization. 4. **Seek Professional Help**: If you are unsure or if there are signs of significant contamination or crystallization, seek professional assistance from a qualified technician who can properly clean the system. In summary, do not add any products to the AdBlue tank unless they are specifically designed and approved for use in AdBlue systems. Always follow the manufacturer's recommendations to ensure the proper functioning of your vehicle's emissions control system.

Thank you very good video. Have you any experience of Mercedes cars that have had the Nox sensor software update recall done on them ?
@sanumotorswithcharlie
@sanumotorswithcharlie 4 месяца назад
. The NOx sensor software update recall you're referring to is related to certain Mercedes-Benz vehicles equipped with diesel engines. This recall typically aims to address issues related to nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions. While I don't have specific experiences from individuals who have had this recall done, generally, software updates for emissions-related components are common in the automotive industry to ensure compliance with regulations and to improve overall performance and efficiency. If you have concerns or questions about the recall or its effects on your Mercedes-Benz vehicle, it's best to consult with your authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership or service center for more detailed information and assistance. They can provide you with specific insights regarding the update and any potential impacts on your vehicle's performance.

Thank you Sanu. I really watched your video till the end. I've also subsucribled to your channel. I've the same problem with my 2018 Eclass. First think the EML came without any messages. I still drove like that over 2 months. But not too much less than 2K miles. Some times the light gone itself. But after I watched many videos then I cleaned the 1st nox sensor near engine side which was the codes P3009EC and P300637. After the process the light was still there. 2 or 3 times I started the engine and then light gone again. I felt a noticeable increase in drive. I bought it a OBD2 from ebay and when I connected the device, this time it gave me an adBlue tank code which is U05A3. I am deleting the the code but what shall I do now please? Am I need to clean other nox or serious problem with the tank? Many thanks for your advise 🖐️

I appreciate your engagement with my video and your subscription to my channel, I can offer some advice regarding the issues you're experiencing with your 2018 E-Class. The error codes you mentioned, P3009EC and P300637, are related to the NOx (Nitrogen Oxide) sensors, and the U05A3 code is related to the AdBlue (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) system. These issues are typically associated with the emission control system in your Mercedes-Benz. Here are some steps you can take to address these problems: Check AdBlue Levels: First, make sure your AdBlue tank is adequately filled. Low AdBlue levels can trigger the U05A3 code. If it's low, refill it with the appropriate AdBlue fluid. The AdBlue tank is usually located near the fuel tank. Reset the Codes: You mentioned that you cleared the U05A3 code. If the code comes back after a short period, it could indicate an ongoing issue with the AdBlue system. Ensure the AdBlue system is functioning correctly. NOx Sensor Cleaning/Replacement: Since you already cleaned one of the NOx sensors, it's a good start. However, if the issue persists, you may need to clean or replace the other NOx sensors as well. They are typically located before and after the catalytic converter. Faulty NOx sensors can lead to emission-related problems. Professional Diagnosis: If the issues persist after performing the above steps, it's advisable to take your vehicle to a Mercedes-Benz dealership or a qualified mechanic who specializes in Mercedes vehicles. They can use advanced diagnostic tools to pinpoint the exact problem and provide the necessary repairs. Warranty: If your vehicle is still under warranty, these emission-related issues might be covered. Check your warranty details and consider contacting your dealership for warranty-related repairs. Remember that emission-related issues can negatively impact your vehicle's performance and may also lead to environmental concerns. It's essential to address them promptly to maintain the proper functioning of your Mercedes-Benz and ensure it complies with emissions regulations.

Thank you for reaching out and for your kind words about my videos. I'm glad to hear that you found the information helpful. Regarding the error codes you're experiencing after replacing the NOx sensor and cleaning the AdBlue injector, it sounds like there might be a deeper issue at play. If the codes persist even after these actions, it's essential to consider a few additional troubleshooting steps: Double-Check Installation: Ensure that the NOx sensor was installed correctly and that all connections are secure. Sometimes, improper installation can lead to faulty readings and trigger error codes. Inspect Wiring: Check the wiring harness connected to the NOx sensor for any damage or loose connections. Faulty wiring can also contribute to error codes. Diagnostic Scan: Perform a comprehensive diagnostic scan using professional diagnostic equipment. This will provide more detailed information about the specific nature of the faults and can guide further troubleshooting. Consult a Mechanic: If you're unsure about how to discharge AdBlue or tackle more complex issues, it's best to consult with a qualified mechanic or technician. They can provide hands-on assistance and expertise to resolve the problem effectively. Consider Replacing AdBlue Solution: While you're hesitant to replace the AdBlue solution yourself, a mechanic experienced with AdBlue systems can assist with this process. They can safely drain the old solution and refill the tank with fresh AdBlue fluid. Remember, addressing automotive issues often requires a combination of knowledge, experience, and sometimes professional assistance. Don't hesitate to seek help from a qualified professional if you're unsure about any steps in the process. Best of luck, and I hope you're able to resolve the issue soon!

I have seen you change the nox sensors from front to back. Do these have to be reset on computer or can they just be swapped?
@sanumotorswithcharlie
@sanumotorswithcharlie Месяц назад
Thank you for watching! Yes, when you swap the NOx sensors from front to back, you typically need to reset them using a diagnostic tool. The sensors need to be recalibrated to ensure accurate readings and proper functioning of the AdBlue system. Simply swapping them without resetting might not resolve any issues and can lead to further complications. Always refer to the vehicle's service manual for specific procedures or consult with a professional mechanic.

Hi , i have c klasse 220d bluetc eror code show P20e8 what can by the problem
@sanumotorswithcharlie
@sanumotorswithcharlie Месяц назад
The error code P20E8 for a Mercedes-Benz C-Class 220d BlueTEC typically indicates an issue related to the reductant pressure sensor. Specifically, this code usually points to a problem with the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) system, also known as AdBlue. The DEF system is crucial for reducing NOx emissions in diesel engines. Here are some common causes and potential solutions for the P20E8 error code: 1. **Low DEF Fluid Level**: - **Solution**: Check the DEF fluid level and refill it if necessary. Make sure to use the correct type of DEF fluid as specified by the manufacturer. 2. **DEF Pump Failure**: - **Solution**: Inspect the DEF pump for any signs of malfunction or failure. If the pump is defective, it may need to be replaced. 3. **DEF Pressure Sensor Issue**: - **Solution**: The pressure sensor itself may be faulty. Testing the sensor and its wiring for continuity and proper function is essential. Replace the sensor if it is found to be defective. 4. **Blocked or Frozen DEF Lines**: - **Solution**: Inspect the DEF lines for blockages or freezing. In cold weather, DEF can freeze, causing a blockage in the lines. Ensure the lines are clear and, if necessary, use a heating element to thaw frozen DEF. 5. **Electrical Issues**: - **Solution**: Check the electrical connections and wiring associated with the DEF system. Look for any signs of corrosion, damage, or loose connections. Repair or replace any damaged wiring as needed. 6. **DEF Injector Problem**: - **Solution**: The DEF injector might be clogged or malfunctioning. Inspect and clean the injector, or replace it if necessary. ### Steps to Diagnose and Fix: 1. **Check DEF Level**: - Ensure that the DEF tank is filled to the appropriate level. 2. **Scan with Diagnostic Tool**: - Use an OBD-II scanner to read the error codes and perform a system check. 3. **Inspect DEF System Components**: - Check the DEF pump, pressure sensor, lines, and injector for any issues. 4. **Check Electrical Connections**: - Inspect and test the wiring and connectors related to the DEF system. 5. **Clear Codes and Test Drive**: - After addressing any issues, clear the error codes and take the vehicle for a test drive to see if the code reappears. If you are not comfortable performing these checks yourself, it is recommended to take your vehicle to a qualified mechanic , Mercedes-Benz service center or SANU MOTORS for a thorough diagnosis and repair.

Hi Charlie I have a Error code P24AF on my Mercedes GLC Coupe 2018. What’s the problem?
@sanumotorswithcharlie
@sanumotorswithcharlie 20 дней назад
Hi there! The error code P24AF on your 2018 Mercedes GLC Coupe typically refers to an issue with the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Differential Pressure Sensor. This sensor measures the pressure difference across the DPF, which helps the engine control unit (ECU) determine the level of soot and particulate matter trapped in the filter. Here are some potential causes and solutions for this error code: 1. **Clogged DPF**: The DPF might be clogged with soot and particulate matter. This can often be resolved by a forced regeneration process, where the ECU increases the exhaust temperature to burn off the accumulated soot. 2. **Faulty Differential Pressure Sensor**: The sensor itself might be malfunctioning and giving incorrect readings. In this case, the sensor may need to be replaced. 3. **Damaged Wiring or Connectors**: Check the wiring and connectors associated with the pressure sensor for any signs of damage or corrosion. Repair or replace any damaged components. 4. **Exhaust Leaks**: Ensure there are no leaks in the exhaust system before and after the DPF, as leaks can affect pressure readings. It's recommended to have this issue diagnosed and repaired by a professional mechanic, as they can use specialized equipment to accurately identify the problem and perform the necessary repairs.

@@sanumotorswithcharlie Hi Charlie , I’ve managed to clear the error code with a Code Reader. The Error code P24AF is duty DPF. The car drives well ,but the Engine management lights on. I took the car for a long run but the Engine Light still on after a long journey. I believe that my wife keeps using the car for short distance trips for the past two months that clogged up the DPF with soot. Anyway After a long run and the Engine lights still there, I used the Code Reader to scan the problem and the Error code P24AF still there, so I erase the Error code, then do another diagnostic with the reader and No error code found. After the deletion I driven the car for another 80 miles no Engine management lights on. So hopefully the problem is solved. Thank You Charlie for your Advice much appreciated.
