Even after 2 years this has saved me so much. I've been dealing with my microphone not working for so long and finding this video was my answer. Thank you so much!
I have another issue; my mic becomes very small after I simultaneously joined google meet and discord meeting. And the audio settings seems to have been reset, MaxxAudioPro reappears after years missing. This is really strange
For those who are in windows 7, and is using the realtek audio driver, you need to disable the pop up dialog before plugging in something so that it automatically detects everything thats plugged in, and not in a sort of Preset way, it instantly detected my headset and external mic, because i didnt set the preset to anything and its just automatically connects everything that's plugged in to the 3.5 mm jack Really saved me from having a mental breakdown
I bought a new mic and cause my last one stopped working and for some reason It’s the same problem I checked and everything was fine it has access enabled I’m going insane someone please help me
My mic works but is super super quiet. I switch microphones and it's the same issue. Everything is turned on, nothing changed except that the mic that I'm using is just absurdly quiet and I have not found any way to fix it.
the thing is my headset mic has been working perfectly, but recently when I was on Fortnite save the world, I tried to reply to some other players and realized they can't hear me. For a second I thought maybe it was something to do with the game at that moment, but later I tried to record my voice on the computer and nothing was captured. Then I thought it was a problem with the mic, but then when I connected it to my phone and recorded my voice, it worked perfectly. So I don't know what's up with the computer. I didn't recently update my computer or anything. I am lost
@@elenaquintero457 yes I did. Right click the speakers icon/volume icon at the bottom right of the screen and click on "sound". Then go to recording tab. Then right click microphone and go to "levels". Check if your "microphone array" is muted; if so unmute it and that's about it. Incase you hear your voice come through the headset, then just go to "listen" tab in the same area and uncheck "listen to this device"
It is on. Nothing works. Everything appears to be working. Apps even recognize the microphone. But what happens is the internal microphone on the laptop is what seems to be permanently in use. No Windows Update last night, worked before bed, woke up, randomly decided not to work anymore. Other headsets don't work. When using the headset on other devices, microphone works.
go to control panel click hard wear then click sound then right click your mic go to properties then levels then make sure there is not an X through your mic sound
