In this video, I will show you guys how to fix outlook password Popup screen coming again and again. You can try this method on Outlook 2010, Outlook 2013 or Outlook 2016.

Thanks. We had a power outage after which my Outlook would not connect to Gmail and threw up that irritating pop up. I followed the procedure to obtain an App password in Google Mail which then solved the issue. Much appreciated - thanks

how did you do that? I dont have "app passwords" as an option in my google account. I think i have to enable 2-factor-authentification first but i dont wanna do that ...

Yes, I realize you comment is three years old... The reason for this is that he had to input the password for both the incoming and outgoing mail server.

hi, i have done this so many times and it has worked, but everytime i need to do it i have issues. If you can help !. i cannot find the place in google to generate the code that key piture is just no where to be found 2. i just added a new mail profile to outlook and need to generate a code for it right, bcs i can see the window asking for the password come up.

I was migrated to a new email server behind the scenes and now Outlook 10 is too stupid to open up and let me change my settings. It just stalls on password popup and won't let me know change the server settings. Is there a backdoor or other way to get access to outlook email account settings in Windows 10?
