How To Fix Nissan Almera N16 Immobiliser Fault 

Oh my God, after being frustrated to the point of rage over the past couple of years, I tried this AND IT WORKED!!! 😮 From time to time the key on car symbol would not go away until after I've locked and opened the car around 7+ times. Very very annoying. I saw this guide and tried it as a last resort and I just can't believe it's worked. The problem hasn't come back once since I did this around a week ago. Thank you so much. I was actually getting quotes for new key fobs which wouldn't have done anything so again, thanks for a brilliant piece of information. I don't know how removing the cable and reseating it has fixed the issue but it has and not I'm one happy driver of my Almera! 😁

Tried it and it worked perfectly. Problem seems to arise from a low battery or disconnecting the battery. Immobiliser system gets confused and this seems to have reset it somehow. Thanks again for making this video.

Been suffering with this issue for a while now, and thought I'd have to spend a fortune at Nissan as I researched the fault and all was coming back was the N. A. T. S system. I have just followed all instructions and so far so good, brilliant thankyou!

1 month that I have suffered with this car .... start, do not start, start, do not start ... This fix took me 5 minutes and I am very surprised, because it works! So a big thank you dude :)

I’ve got same problem will try this in the morning , but makes sense as I read on the forum that these Almera have a problem with the wiring harness being a tiny bit short and puts stress on that joint with a bad connection , apparently Nissan charge £400 to replace the small loom ! I think I’ll try your method cheers mate 👍❤️🇬🇧

Is that imbolizer light supose to flash all the time ? Exept when the car is running ? I had never owned a nissan before. Tought the flash light was when the car is locked but what i suprice i got when i saw that the light still flashes when the car is unlocked.

same happening on a 2003 almera tino,, when you push the switch in then out,, what exactly does this mean,, remove it then re install?

Hi Jay I've just got a 2005 nissan almera tino, the dash board lights flicker in a non pattern type of flash. Miles go off the thing in the middle too. I'm just wondering if you have any advice. Its the alternator as I've been to see someone today and he said its not down to that so, if you get this as I know this was 2 years ago, I'm wondering if you can help. Cheers.
