@@ARTaudio440So I tried your checks, and I had continuity at the two small chips "U15" and "U16", and also had continuity when earthing the screw and checking "L35" and "L39" but that "L58" filter had no power going through it from either side, and the red LEDs on the switches no longer light up either. I installed a new screen because I thought that was the issue, but it hasn't helped anything...If anything I've made it worse 😒
@frayedsanity Hi, thanks for sharing your diagnosis, I can see that you have a missing volts on L58. Please check the reference volts as follows. L58 +9 volts Dc L35 -15 volts Dc L59 +15 volts Dc

Hello thanks for watching☺️ Yes it's tied up because -15 volts is a VLCD of the LCD which is the LCD contrast pulse. Follow my trouble shooting in this video and focus only on the pre-amp supply. Try to check the supply of U18 which is pre-amp of the headphone pin4 +15volts and pin11 -15volts.
If you gets +15 volts and -15volts meaning the pre-amp supply is good. Next to be check is the IC U40, U41 and U42 check this ic using your hand and feels if any one of these is getting more hotter than the rest. If gets hot, meaning that ic is the faulty one.☺️

Hi there, thank you for answering. I already try it 😢, but nonw of these things worked. When the pod self reboot sometimes it start a boot loop, but sometimes not. If it is on boot loop I need to unplug it and wait some time until it can boot normally
@@maxsuellima7488 For sure it has irregularities on the corcuit, possible loose connection of wire or faulty components like capacitor or crystal clock. I would suggest bringing it to an authorized service center. line6 is now under Yamaha.
my HD500x seems to be losing volume, the master starts to act from 3. in the calibration, the potentiometer seems normal. with volume at 4 I have an output voltage of 0.020mv. can you help me?

Hi Kim, Thanks for watching. If it is the rotary volume, one of the reason why it's happening because of oxidations. You must open the unit and apply a contact cleaner where available to purchased localy like in hardware or electronics store. Actually WD40 will works but my preferred is Contact cleaner where it drys immidiately. If you are talking about the pedal then try to calibrate it. Hi thanks for watching ☺️ If I have a chance, I will make it. Common problem for this model if there is issue on the sound is any one of the three ic is faulty. Its called DAC or digital to analog converter. Usualy if faulty, this ic gets hot or warm compared to good ic.
I have a pod hd bean desktop,same problem with you,i accidently burn it by wiring the rj45 jack to the switch. No sound no display just blank white screen.I checked the preamp opamps and the inductor,right voltage but still not working 😢

Hi sir. I have podhd500.The thing is that when i am playing a preset, a * symbol will show in screen and volume comes down when playing. Also the master know didnt work well. Hi Allan, there is a Line6 pod x3 live that is being sold on the fb with the same issue (no sound and no display). The seller's tech told him that the issue is the processor but upon watching this video I'm now having second thoughts if I'm going to buy it and repair it myself or not. The question is, will this fix work on that unit too? Haha. His tech might be right if the real issue is the processor. Is there a processor available in the aftermarket? Will it be fixed if the processor will be replaced? thanks!
Hi po. Ang common kasi na problem ng model na ito ay ic. Yung regulator na related sa video ko. Pag may missing na supply ay ganyan ang symptoms. Pero kung na check ng tech na meron o kumpleto ang supply ay possible main ic na ang sira. Pag main ic na ang sira ay di na sya ma rerepair. Board replacement na.

Hi, thank you for watching ☺️ I would suggest bringing it to an authorized service center to make sure no additional damage. Replacing the LCD is a bit difficult to unsolder the pins due to the double sided board.

also, if it has a usb port, plug into a computer and run Line 6 Monkey on it, update the firmware and that may fix your issue (and may not...but it did fix mine.)

@@awesamos During calibration, numbers must corespond when you move the pedal. If it is not happening then the sensor or the two parts on the pedal sensor board requires a replacement.

Hello Vishall, Thanks for watching.l It seems that there is a loose connections between the audio cable PL and jacks of Pod X3. Pleas double check the guitar cables then apply a WD40 to output and input jack of pod x3 and jack of your guitar also. I can't help you with regards on foot switch. I will suggest to bring it to an Authorized service center nearest you. Original AC adaptor can be purchased online or local with the same specs.

@@stur34gt @stur34gt Check pin 1 of U49 not sure if 49 or 48 ic next o coil that I was checked and behind R306, you must have get +9volts supply on that pin. If +9volts is there and still the same, then you need to replace that IC. Beacause U49 ic is a supply of the preamp audio output.
i got a fix for myself my power supply was kickn out 9.6 volts AC. apparently thats not enough mine is a older model, i have a Variac power supply. i turned up the power on the Variac until i had 10 volts AC. and it booted up with no problems.

Hi, pa send po ng picture sa fb page. Artaudio440. Di ko kasi kabisado ang model. Marami kasi volts sa circuit. Ang volt ng audio ay -15volts at +15volts. Sa system namn ay 1.2 volts, 3.3 volts at 5 volts.
Sir yung sakin ayaw magconnect sa pc ano kaya possible problem ? Kahit updated na yung mga driver uninstall at install ulit na ginawa ko ayaw parin eh salamat sa sagot sir 😊
