I don't have that problem but I can't have the music on because it's 6 times louder than what it should be and masks everything, covers up the natural sounds and enemies, is there way of adjusting that so the balance is better and I can enjoy it?

If nothing works activate GPU scaling in the graphics card control panel. Works if you pass sound with HDMI, at least in kotor 1&2. Make sure to set sound quality to 16 bit, 44100 Hz (CD quality) in windows sound setup.
