My 2 year old Xiaomi Mijia m365 electric scooter was not charging when I plugged the charger this morning. So I opened the deck to check the battery for loose connections and viola! I found the broken nickel plate connector so I welded it back using a soldering iron.
This is a known issue with the M365 scooters because it doesn't have a suspension, the deck absorbs all vibrations from your daily use. But it's an easy fix as long as you know what you are doing.
Please don't do this if you don't have electronics background. Have it checked by a shop near you.

Yes it is common. I almost bought a BMS, good thing I checked the battery first.

Exactly the issue i had in my scooter, in order to fix it, i just put some piece of thin and flat plastic that i had laying in my toolbox so the idea is that the bottom plastic cover will create pressure and should hold it in place where one of the contact has separated, so this video solved my problem, thanks alot!

Thankyou just diagnosed mine with this problem by pressing down on the tabs till I found which one is loose. I will now steal your idea to try keep it in place.

@@victorlockett816 A year later, My advise is to sell it, really... I've sold my Xiaomi scooter and bought a new Chinese brand with wider and bigger 11 inch wheel that have a great grip and I don't have a fear from potholes in the road no more, surprisingly they are built much better then the Xiaomi crap models... never again I will think about buying it. those are designed poorly by Xiaomi, I've lost my count on how many times I had to waste my time and money on fixing it, it's not just the battery... it's basically everything in it.

Hello ,nice video, I've got this scooter with a problem it works well but sometimes it shuts down whenever it wants (even with full battery) and you can't turn it on. It turns on only when i plug in the charger. Is there a fix for this?

Have you checked the battery status in the app yet?

@@Petiksmode Yes, it says normal status. I tried to repair it with the guarantee(from the store) but they did nothing they took 50 euro and after like a month or 2 they said that they need more money so i took the scooter back and lost 50 euro also...

If the charger is red and not green does it mean its charging. It didint make any sound when i put charger.

My BMS is not blinking, just have solid blue light.. Do you know, what is it means?

The steady blue light means that the battery is fully charged. It blinks slowly when operational, fast when supplying power and red when it’s charging. - I got this from the interwebs LOL :D

i have a solid blue light too but the app says 39.4V, 0% battery, 0km left and in can only go 5km/h i am helpless i can't find the issue

I bought the scooter 3 years ago but never use it and never charge. Now I’m trying to charge but it’s completely dead and doesn’t charge in any way. The bms lights are off, what can I do?

check the reset button in bms and try to switch it. it should blink if it's still working. if not then I think you need to check the batteries
