Hi Mathew, it looks like I am going to have to do this with my scooter as the cell packs are only around the 35 v range. Is the fault down to the BMS system or maybe something else? Btw thanks for the tutorial and the links.

Mine have a difference of 1.8v between cells. Battery not charging. Thinking of changing the bms. Would that stop the charging process???

Hi, in each normal charge cycle with the standard charger, all the units are rebalanced by the BMS. In fact they end up at about the same voltage of 4.2V. Why did you do this?

If you guys dont wantt to cut the plastic or open the battery, which I also didnt there is another way to balance that worked for me so far every time but it seems nobody figured it out yet. If it works for you please write it elsewhere if someone asks, to help others. Mine didnt even turn on without being plugged in that how bad it got. 3.6 and next pack was 4.1v , huge differences. Connect to power, use m365 dashboard app from google play or any apk app website (just write in google m365 dashboard app apk) to connect to scooter. Turn on back light under options until you finish. And keep it in sport mode. Next turn on kers to full power regeneration and unplug the adapter (but keep the scooter on, I did all this inside my apartment btw). Now this might be a bit of aproblem for some, my throttle kicks in at 2kph cause I lowered it, if you guys have it at default i think the front wheel must turn at 5kph spinning for throttle to work. Figure it out. Raise the front of the scooter and full power for half or one second and brake full. Do it again. Mind you kers must be on full/strong not weak. And dont forget to put it back to weak after. All the while keep checking the m365 app and battery packs for changes. When they balanced put it to charge immediately so they go up on same level. So two repeats of full throttle, full break with kers full. With wheel in the air and full brake with kers on strong. After a month I by mistake did sth so theyy went out of balance again so I did the process again, it worked the same, this time only one time needed. I hope youre successful and you repair it, do tell if you do. cheers, good luck

Hello there, quick question. How dangerous can it be to charge a module after 1 year of discharging (bms blinks red 4 times) ? After some testing, they go from 2.2V to 3.1V. Thanks for your help :).

What tool did you use to remove the plastic cover mate? I know they are torx screws but what measure?

But doesn't the BMS think about regulating the voltage on the individual cells?

I had the same Problem, and before i open the battery and charge one part only, i tried to discharge the battery completely until the scooter was dead. Then i did a reset to BMS and charged it fully to 100%. After the charge the difference was 0.010 wich i think is if not perfect at least acceptable.

Brand new just received it, after first full charge the battery is all iver the place, with the max difference being 0.03V, is this normal?

Similar thing happened on mine.. bms doesn't re-balance first 3 cell groups and "at full charge" ends up with c1,c2,c3: ~3.5v while others get charged to ~4.27..... Tested connections it's all good.

What apps is this?

If you discharge the battery fully or at least down to 5% then charge to higher than 90% your battery should balance automatically. Also, they are called cells if you are talking about individual batteries, modules if you are talking about groups of cells to increase amps and battery pack if you are talking about the total pack. You sounded like you were saying battery model.

The easiest was is after every 20 cycles you’re suppose to drain it beyond 10% to cycle the batteries.

So you only recharged that cell, didnt use any decharge device then.
