Actually so simple. I just wasn't sure if I would be bale to keep my data. Well you solved my problem, so I liked and subbed. I hope you can help me in the future, cuz as we know, windows keep making new problems for you ruining your day or weekend :D Note: When i click uninstall, it imedeately uninstalled. But I still kept all my data when installing again. I guess being signed in to a goolge account helps saving all you data aswel :)

How to Remove the Tabs of Google when I am deleting it WITHOUT restarting it? Why you ask? There is a password and I always forgot about it. When I uninstall; It said: Please close all Google Chrome windows and try again. I clicked it but it nothing is working. welp. how to remove the tabs. this is a problem.

When I try to delete it it tells me to close all chrome taps even though none are open. I tried restarting it but to no avail

i woke up this morning i turned on my PC tried to open chrome, it didnt open just showed a grey frowning face saying CRASHED, i re booted the PC, nothing, i removed my modem, nothing, i still had internet explorer so i went to utube and found your VID< i did exactly as you commanded me to, i have WINDOWS 7, yes its 2022, but im a moron, and it WORKED i now have my pathetic life back as a loner whos only joy and pleasure in life is watching utube vids, if only i was as smart and beautiful as you are i would be more successful in life, instead of the loser i am, but thank you i wish you all the best in life i hope you become rich like elon musk one day.

Thanks for the help, or at least confirming some of the other help I have looked at. One question I would like to have answered, which I haven't found addressed is: "Why does this kicking out of Chrome occure?" It is alright and fine to know how to fix, but how can it be prevented from happening again, and again? The last few weeks, on my home PC, I have lost Google on several occassasions and it seems that it can work, barely, after a cold reboot of the machine.

That uninstall checkbox to "keep the bookmarks" doesn't exist anymore in windows 11. Also, did it ever keep the other chrome profiles too? How about extension settings? However, pressing the installer from the website you mentioned, without uninstall anything first, solved the problem for me. Thank you for the video 👍

I download the Google Chrome app for the first time on my MacBook Pro, but it does not open when I click on it after the download. Does somebody know how I can solve this problem? I tried to the reinstal the app sometimes and restart the laptop, but this did not work.

Hi Dave, I followed your instructions and uninstalled Chrome, downloaded it again and clicked on "Open File" - I got "On your marks" then it blinked off and nothing happened. I have repeated the process on numerous occasions and even clicked "show in folder" and right clicked on the.exe file and run as an administrator. Now I can't seem to reinstall Chrome. Any ideas?

Hi I am wondering if you can please help me with an urgent situation. I accidentally clicked Sync Bookmarks (on a friend's computer that I do NOT want my information to be saved on). I then saw all of my bookmarks AND gmail passwords showing! I DO NOT want this information on my friend's computer. I tried everything to undo this nighmare, but nothing has worked so far. I stopped the sync, hid bookmarks on the bookmark bar, I uninstalled Chrome, but when I reinstalled Chrome, everything is still showing. How can I reverse this without losing my bookmarks on other devices where I actually do want them?
