Many cell phones, tablets, and mobile devices record to a variable frame rate in order to keep the size of the file down and allow you to save it on your phone. When these videos are imported into most video editing programs the variable frame rate causes the audio to go out of sync with the video. The solution to this problem is to change the frame rate from variable to constant.
