I was having the same issue. My experience was that every time I powered off and detach from the outlet when powering on the computer it quickly off and back on giving me F1 error. Problem solved changing the CMOS battery.

Dude! Thank you so much! This helped and saved me. I also have an Asus motherboard mine is ASUS Maximus IX Hero. After power loss i had the same problem and i tried everything from replacing cables to things to stuff and after wasting time on bios settings i was thinking of giving up but then realised this is not normal this must be fixed.I typed this on YT and i am so glad your video popped first. I knew there has to be a way to fix this and i am so glad i found your video. Thank you so much again and god bless you

Help, I have a restarting loop. I turn it on and then it immediately powers off and then loops this behavior. I removed the cmos battery and now it boots into a black screen.

Same issue power on and automatically power off then again on automatically. Thankfully your monitor is showing something.

Why is this actually a problem? As far as I can tell, it powers on for a split second, then powers down (or at least the light goes off), but after a few seconds, powers back on and continues to POST. Although I guess it would boot faster without the power down bit, we're only talking about a few seconds difference, and the PC works.

Because a PC shouldn't operate like that, and further, when it does such a thing it often means there's a problem.

My pc boots up rgb lights turn on . No monitor signal and just restarts and turns off in a loop. Should I remove motherboard battery . Or use Kerry board to access bios . My keyboard is broken bc I spill water on it months ago . Thx

Sounds like it's in hibernation? No idea. Try resetting the CMOS

hi, i found that for me resetting to default settings fixed the issue for me. I played with the BIOS once, and it gave the computer problems when booting. so resetting helped. thank you!

Bad placement of the cooler? Is it mounted properly, have you also got all the power to the motherboard connected correctly?

Restarting loops between the bios splash and windows boot splash could be caused by a number of things.. the craziest one i encountered was a bad bios chip that took me 3 days to figure out..

Jheez! Yeah POST loops are horrible to diagnose, most of the time it's either: bad OC, bad BIOS or corrupted Windows installation (gulp!)

This kept happening to me but its only when i unplug and replug my pc. I looked into bios to find the ERP thing and mine was already disabled but i did find another option in there called AC Power On State that sets what state i want my pc to be in next time it boots in case of a power failure or power loss so i think this might be the case of my issue. I didnt try it though so idk maybe plugging my pc into a wall outlet might fix this for me.

Hey thanks for the video, i think it has to do more with aura, seems like its a test as my pc shows the led flashing for the ARGB. BUT IDK, fixed the issue for me either way :)

@@liyuanzhen3510 im not sure what it is, but when i reinstalled windows 10 and updated it to the 1909 version it worked fine for a week. and then it went back to the same problem just recently.

@@liyuanzhen3510 so one more thing. update windows like i said, AND ALSO, if you have the MSI motherboard drivers & utilities disk, update all that as well. ....or go to the MSI website to download some drivers. the disk makes it all easier.

When it happens I have to turn off the psu and turn it on manually and refresh the bios for few times and it will randomly boots. I think the bios chip on the motherboard is not a good quality chip. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XdxyTWSeRx4.html this is exactly what happen to my pc, but Jayz did not tell us how to fix it at the end.

Didn’t work for me my rep is already off. I did a bios update for better windows 11 compatibility and it will turn on shut off then tune back on again before booting then when I restart it shuts off completely and turns back on. Not sure but 7B93v1E bios for Msi gaming pro carbon wifi needs to be addressed.

What should I do when my pc only powers on for a split second, ONCE and then decides the remain, OFF....? In your video, your pc, "restarts" after it's failure to post. Mine just attempts to power on once when pressing the button, and it fails this, and then remains off, forever, until I plug out the power cable for a minute and try again, with the same result... PSU works perfect in other system...

Hard to diagnose a PC without seeing it. But have you checked all your cables are in properly? Have you tried clearing the CMOS? Checked for error codes? Checked if the CPU is seated properly? Ensured the main drive is connected and operational?

Help I open game pc fifa 21 and black screen when starting, keyboard still active Capslock but all hotkey not responding, before it HDD has 2 bad sector, I turn off windows by power button 4s seconds, after that 5 minutes I startup again. This is destroy my hardwares ? (crash random)
