@BlueRage Just half pull the switch. You should feel the difference between pulling/pushing all the way and just holding it about half way without feeling the two bumps.

Checklist comment, with the chatter cut away. (not a jab at you, MF! Your video was super helpfull!) Step 1: turn ignition to on 2. The spot before starting. Step 2: lower window all the way down Step 3: open driver door Step 4: turn ignition off dont remove key Step 5: push and hold power window switch down Step 6: push ignition to #2 position WHILE holding switch per step 5. After a few seconds, release switch. Step 7: lower window all the way. Step 8: raise window all the way and hold switch for 1 second.

Didn't work on 2010 Honda Fit, but silicone spray on the tracks did work. Tracks were very dirty. Cleaning them with silicone -soaked paper towels took it right off and fixed the window problem. 😊

This is a great tutorial. Currently I have my driver side rear window down in my door and it won't go back up. 6 months ago it did the action you spoke of by not staying up and falling halfway down. From there I pulled the window up all way and used gorilla tap to keep the window closed. Today when I went to pick up at Walmart I accidentally touch the button on my drivers side and the window came down all the way down into my door and I can't get it to come back up. Help me please? Do I need to go see a mechanic?

@@jancenj2218 I fixed it by seeing another youtube tutorial and used 2 sided tape with an 18in steel ruler to pull the window up from inside the door. I gorilla taped both sides of the window on the top and bottom. So far so good! I can't justify paying money to fix my window at this point as my energizer bunny is 20 years old with a 184000 miles.

I have exactly the same problem in my 2007 Lexus ES350 front passenger side window. When I close the window it closes all the way and immediately rolls down about 1/2 way. I do not have the ignition/start switch like the one you have. I have push-button start/stop switch. So I can't follow the way you have described in your video. Any suggestions?

I am experiencing an issue with my front windows rolling up too tight and creating a slight whistling noise from the outside air. If I just very lightly tap the switch in the down position the noise goes away. Have you experienced this? I am going to try this adjustment procedure and see if that helps.
