Great demo. Question...what if the reset button does not push back in and stays up. What should be done then? Also, how do you detach the power cord from the power nozzle? I have model pn-2. It's the Rainbow SE series. Thanks in advance.
Thank you so much. My vac nozzle quit rotating after something got jammed in it, I clear it out, but it still wasn’t working. Alls I needed to do is HIT THE RESET button. Ty
OMG!! Thank you for this I finally know now that it's the hose that isn't working! I've not used that part of my unit for 10 yrs! Now I just have to figure out how to fix it, lol
Answer this and I'll gladly buy any parts needed from your Ebay store; I have the E-Series. I began having an overload issue on the power nozzle. I used to be able to get it to work if I lifted it up off the ground, press the reset button and get it spinning before I set it down again. Now, it overloads immediately no matter what; even with the belt disconnected. I've removed all visible dog fur from the motor. There is a spark on the lower brush at the time it overloads, if that tells you anything.
Its the motor in the power nozzle. I had this exact same problem develop over the summer. I was able to diagnose the problem by removing the belt, plugging in the power nozzle, and the motor would work fine. If I put the belt and the brush roll back on, the motor would trip every time. I bought a used power nozzle on ebay and my Rainbow is up and running. You could attempt to replace the motor, but as I looked at mine, the connections seemed more complex than I wanted to deal with.
Good Afternoon. I have tested the power to the vacuum and the power head is not getting power unless I plug it directly into he base. Does this mean I need to order a new hose?
Vacume is 7 yrs old worked great and just stopped sucking or head wont rotate the floor light works but roller wont no Longer turn is there a reset button on these older models

I know this is an old video, but my problem is very recent with Rainbow Series 3 model. There is a broken wire connecting he trigger to the hose. ... one broken wire. Since I'm not an electrician, I don't know how to fix.🥲
