I've had my rainbow for 25 yrs. I religiously did these 3 tips. Cleaned the water separator maybe twice a year, inspected it monthly. Replaced the motor 2 years ago with a rebuilt motor. Hope I get another 20 - 25 years before ANY service.
I have an older E-series rainbow. I absolutely love it. I bought it used about 12 years ago. I did recently have to purchase a new carpet vacuum attachment. I watched your video on tips on how to make your rainbow last longer but I was wondering if there’s anything else inside that you can clean that can help it run better. Other than the water separator and water canister. Is there any other type of filter that you can’t see that needs to be cleaned.
Thank you for this video, but mine, the air flow has stopped. I've cleaned the hoses even and the motor sounds like it might explode. It's so high pitched that I'm afraid of using it. What do you suggest?
Any chance of Rainbow making some type of lighter lift away system? I have stairs and it is very difficult to do that job in a quick manner. I can only do half the stairway, then lug all the parts of they system upstairs to do the other half. It is time consuming..and hard on my back! Somebody needs to make this suggestion to the company.
I have the black e2 rainbow vacuum,was a kirby guy who was showing kirby vacuum how better is so he poured baking soda on the carpet and told me to vacuum but rainbow won't pick up the baking soda so after he said to test my rainbow with suction tester and it showed 3.5 to 4 but why he made me clean baking soda and do test after did he tried to break my rainbow/shut motor off did my rainbow got hurt??? I opened the filter and Shook and didn't come out nothing checked the motor i don't see anything but I'm worrying about my rainbow vacuum... thank you
That big white filter in the back (hap filter?) Does it affect the suction or is that only for blowing air out ? Our E2 is losing suction, so I'm trying to find the cause.
