I was having the same issue. I took it to Honda dealership - I bought the car from CarMax - Honda fixed it because there is a recall on it.. in the mornings it still stalls to start, but on the second one it starts. Thanks for the info I’ll change the relay
UPDATE: Fuel pump relay only resolved the issue for a few weeks until it started happening again. There is a TSB for the fuel pump for units up to 2019 but it seems many 2020 owners are also having fuel pump issues. I have since changed my fuel pump and have not had any issues since.
Man, thank you for the update as I almost bought the relay, but tested mine and the generic part from the store. Mine sounded better when it clicked, so despite being dejected the problem was deeper, at least I didn't spend the money on the relay.
Mines doing the same thing mostly after I have finished work been to the dealer twice and they still can't work it out mite have to show them this video... is the problem still fixed I know it's been 8 months
whats up nick. we bought a honda hrv in your home city at fernandez. just started doing the same issue your having. i know its not the battery bc i changed it about 6 months ago. im going to try the fuel pump first. how is your hrv been running ?
I am having the same issue, replaced battery, alternator, battery terminals, fuel pump relay like you suggested. Still is fails to start! Any other ideas?
