Don’t forget **** after you lock and unlock the doors - press the break then gas then break THEN you start the car!!!! It helped us!!! Thank you

This is a work around not a fix , was looking for the reason it does it so i can actually fix it

Thanks for the advice. You're right, it's just a workaround...to be able to start the car. I doubt you can ,permanently, fix this problem...that's why ,even, on the car manual the manufacturer advised drivers to place the key underneath the steering wheel column when the key isn't detected. I guess, It's like resetting the transmitter and the receiver caused by a minor glitch.

Place the keys underneath the steering wheel right on the steering column. There’s an indentation, an imprint that your key will fit into flat sided

any solutions as to why the stereo sound seems to change volume? also when connecting my phone through bluetooth the sound cuts in and out so I'm forced to listen to the radio if I want to listen to music. Can't connect my phone.

As for stereo sound changing volume by itself...I've no idea. The stereo sound cuts in and out, maybe, because of data causing network to fluctuate/phone maybe switching bluetooth On /Off by itself due phone problems.

My vehicle isn’t responding to it at all. I just changed the battery too. What do I do to get it to respond to locking and unlocking. I keep getting the smart key not found message.

Hi! I'm sorry about that. According to manual,Try to place your key fob ( buttons facing down) under the steering column and try to start the car--"TRY THIS SEVERAL TIMES" until the car starts...if it doesn't, you may have bigger problems. Goodluck!!

This only happens when you change the Key Fob battery. Lock and Unlock to sync Key Fob after new Key Fob battery is inserted.

No! Every time the car doesn't start because the 'smart key isn't detected'...i, simply, look and unlock the car and the car will start afterwards.

Manually lock and unlock the car, using key fob.🤣🤣🤣

Haaahhh! Maybe, but this method works like a charm everytime. Although--'key not detected' problem doesn't happen everday/everytime i start the car, maybe, once in 3 months. The manufacturer, though, advised one should place the key fob underneath the steering wheel column when the car doesn't start.🤣🤣
