I actually loved this video. Theres alot of us out there that rebuild/repair our own stuff in our garage. Doesn’t take a $30k machine to have fun. Looked like y’all really enjoyed your outing!
Nice work bro. I do all my own work myself and enjoy seeing other guys doing the same. These dealerships too busy ripping everyone off. I always do it myself even if I haven’t done it before. You just got yourself another subscriber
I found a cheap one on offer up making this noise thought of picking it up and fixing it myself for couple hundred bucks but fear you just make it look too easy haha
Did you have to replace the pistons and jug? Or just crank assembly? Same thing happened to mine I havnt ordered parts yet figured I’d find more info before tearing it down
hi for rod knock you only have to replace the crankshaft and connecting rods and connecting rod bearings .. but if you have drove it for a while with rod knock it might have starved that piston from oil because the oil passes through the rod to the piston rings on some engines ..so you might have low compression on that cylinder but yea let me know how it goes
i think it was about 800 bucks and for tips just take your time and dont rush that way u dont do it wrong haha it was not very complicated to do .. i watched an uncut video of someone taking one apart and was pausing it along the way .. good luck let me know how it goes
