I was about to never play a call of duty again, I bought bo2 and couldn’t connect to online severs at all, so I bought Cold War and ran into this issue… I just wanna play some zombies man😂 your a life saver!!
Guys, if you're having trouble with this same issue on Season 3, but you have all content packs installed, there is a FIX for it. Do exactly the same thing in this video but when you go to Manage Game & Add-ons, you want to go to Saved Data and delete from console and then you want to Delete Reserved Space. When you delete Reserved Space, it will close the game down (if not already closed), then exactly the same as in the video above, it will start checking files and downloading.
Today’s Thursday may 19th , had this problem all day yesterday. 6 hours for the initial download, 6 hours for what I thought needed to be re installed when all I needed to do was this! Thanks man.
This is bs, I have the physical disk. I have a brand new series X. It's 2024 and it's not fixed. I got to my add ons and there's nothing missing. I have everything downloaded. EDIT YOU HAVE TO UNINSTALL THE "FREE ACCESS" ADD ON
Ok, first you are my hero as your video started the process of fixing this issue for me! Thank you! However I had to do one more step! When I looked at the content pack, I had packs like 2-4. But there was no content pack 1 which I found suspicious. After much internet research the solution that worked for me was to go to Xbox network settings, advanced settings, alternate MAC address, clear. This reset my Xbox. Then when I went into manage game and add ons, content pack one was there, and not installed. So I installed it as you show in your video here and it did solve the issue!

I had everything downloaded but still didn’t work I can’t remember if I had the trial or not but it said I had multiplayer, campaign, and zombies but still said I had to buy it idk what to do.
Dude this is ridiculous. This is same thing that happened to me when I just tried it. Why would they design it so it's so unintuitive that you have to scrounge the internet to find out how to play it.
Never ceases to amaze me that one of the biggest money makers in gaming literally has the most grueling download processes and bugs associated with it. Modern Warfare was no slouch in that department either. This is gaming today folks. Hand them $120 and don't forget the Excedrin.

@@warrodsequen6384 what I did was when j went on Cold War and when it says to buy it click the switch users then go on another account and then it’ll say connecting and give it time and then boom it might work

Life saver, thank you so much. I was just trying to play zombies and just had that downloaded and once I downloaded all the content pack it worked. No you don’t even need the whole game downloaded, you just need all the content pack downloaded to make it work.

if this doesn’t work then it’s a different problem what i did is i went into games and add Ons and if you have an add on called call of duty black ops cold war-free access just uninstall it and start to your game back up it should check for files and then say downloading and after like 5 minutes it should be back on and it will be fixed.
@@jdc864 yeh every thing else should be there but if you have an add on called call of duty cold war free access are call of duty cold war zombies free access are both then you need to remove them and it will let you play.

I've been having the same problems, but I have everything under Cold War already downloaded and the same screen keeps popping up when I try to launch the game on my Xbox One S. Nothing is ready to be installed.
Yeah same it has been this way for 2 weeks for me and I’m hoping this update will fix it. My friend said that some people were reinstalling the campaign and it worked but I haven’t tried it yet.

Dude, modern,cold and vanguard isn't working for me .shit is pissing me off .I've deleted and reinstalled each multiple times .nothing is working .this just started 2 days ago. Ww2 works tho so idk but I've haven't played that in over a year .

Thank u soooo much I ran out of storage so i had to get a storage device so I uninstalled cold war for now I managed to get the storage device and now it said servers not available then i waited 4 days because i thought they were glitching then i tried googling it, nothing came up so i tried this video and it worked I will drop a sub Thanks
