How To Fix STABILTRAK WARNING LIGHT CHEVY EQUINOX 

First video that makes any sense, a ton of videos with fixes that are the equivalent of blinker fluid.

I just got one of these 2011 equinox ltz's and this issue occured. Is it bad to drive the car in the meantime? Until the hub/bearings are replaced? Mine don't give me any noise or feedback but are showing the error messages.

You have to replace the whole wheel bearing? Or can you just change the ring?

Good evening. I have Stabilitrak Light on and Traction Control Light on just now. Can you tell me the problem?

I have a 2010 Equinox LTX 4 cyl with 130K miles on it. I got an Error message on the screen saying "Service Stabilitrack" and the next day I got a "Reduced Engine Power" message and my car would only go 40 mph. I had recently had all my brakes replaced prior to the Stabilitrack message. Do you think the two error messages are related or do I have a bigger issue to address?

I changed my front hubs but the "service stabilitrak" notice and the ABS + PARKING BRAKE SIGNS are still showing up. What else should I do, please?

I have the same problem but instead of the stablitrak screen I get a AWD shutting off screen

HELP? HAVE EASY FIX IF I CAN FIGURE THIS OUT! If this post is even being monitored - I have a stupid question re: the STABILITRAK BUTTON/ switch in the interior console.... A few years back, huge thing of soda was spilled & I know a ton of it leaked thru this spot. The button is super hard to turn on/off & I believe there must be a bunch of gooey sugar/ syrup (at this point) must be having an effect on the whole thing. The warning light comes on it seems, only when it's cold & once the car is heated up - goes away w no problem. Sometimes I'll get a pocket knife blade in there - gently trying to free up the deep edges of the button & after restarting car - light will also go away - so the goo has to be the issue. It's a 2011 Equinox LS but only have about 40k mostly hiway miles on it at this point & is always garaged (in AZ)... So there's no real wear or tear & keep it regularly maintained (syn oil, filters, just got new tires, etc) QUESTION - HOW do I REMOVE THE ORIGINAL BUTTON/ SWITCH to get in there & clean what I can so it can then be REPLACED WITH THE NEW BUTTON/ SWITCH? I don't want to screw anything up attempting to pull it out & I truly believe that the old drying up soda/ sugar is making everything stick in there.... Appreciate any info!

My service stability trak light comes on too but mine only stays on for a few seconds and goes away. When it happens it also my screen in my car go off too. Like the whole screen goes black where it shows my radio station and it does it two seconds and comes back on. Can anyone tell me whats causing this problem?

After I helped some guy jump start his car, he had accidentally switched the positive and negative charge on my damn battery and it starts and runs fine however I completely lost my ability to steer and it says to "Service Stabilitrak." I'm just lucky the idiot didn't blow my shit up

You don't have to do all that 😂 Theres a switch and sensor in the motor you can replace

Good engineering? The metal brake grinding go to the magnet. And people buy new bearings haha

Just spray the wheel hub magnet using the brake cleaner 😌
