HOW TO FIX fix swollen phone battery, new DIY idea
Today I will show you how to fix a swollen phone battery with a safe mod, fix the bulged phone battery.

Sometimes, when a battery goes bad, the internal cells rupture and cause a bulge to appear in the phone battery.
Bulging batteries mean only one thing- a buildup of gas inside mobile phone battery like Samsung phone battery I phone, etc. The gases are produced due to electrochemical oxidation of the electrolyte. Such oxidation occurs usually due to overcharging of the battery due to a faulty charger, electronics in the phone and battery charger, solve this problem.

While I would perform this on a fully discharged battery outside or in an otherwise well-ventilated place and with eye protection, I don't see how this would be any more dangerous than simple chemistry experiments in school. Certainly not as dangerous as some commenters make it look like. Venting a battery is itself not inherently dangerous. Many batteries have built-in vents. Of course, you should be careful as much of that gas may be hydrogen. However, these are LiPo batteries which generally quite safe. The batteries are also very small and do not contain enough energy (electrical or chemical) to cause that much damage. Essentially, a gas stove is a lot more dangerous.

man, this is stupid, all built up future gass will be released into the phone or case whatever the device is, even the smallest error like the protecting board suddenly malfunctions due to pressure your phone will explode into fire or will catch on fire. This is stupid as hell

This is incredibly stupid and dangerous. You're practically begging to cause an explosion and end up in a burn ward. DO NOT DO THIS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. If a battery is swollen, FUCKING REPLACE IT. Lithium batteries can NOT be repaired once they have failed. Do NOT go poking holes in it unless you'd like to take a vacation to your local hospital.

the reason a battery is swollen is because the chemicals inside it are already degraded! You are just asking for an explosion in your hand! The best advise for swollen batteries is to replace with a new one. It is not worth it to repair a swollen bettery.

Mmanzails, is the GAS inside harmful or deadly if inhale? If yes, how long and much of gas you need to get toxic? I see you are letting go of the gas built inside.

Yes, very deadly to inhale. Also possibility of fire/exploding once you puncture the battery so all in all, very dangerous procedure and not recommended to just copy.

Its crazy, youre risking your hand and your house get burned, this is recipe for disaster. Just buy a new battery it will only cost you $5-6, not worth the risk
