Problem: Wi-Fi connected, No Internet Fix: Check Date and Time. If incorrect, either Turn on the Auto Sync Date & Time if it was off or manually update date and time. Problem should now be fixed. P.S This also works if you are connected wired with Ethernet and are getting strange errors relating to connection issues or apps like youtube not loading.

It’s sees my wireless router and shows connection speed is excellent. It just won’t connect after entering- and yes my password is kept in a locked app plus I tested it to make sure on another device. Should I try to update drivers from USB?
I had a 32" TCL Roku TV from 2019 that just stopped connecting to wifi. We tried unplugging for a minute, resetting the router, and using the software based factory reset. None of those worked. I was about to throw this TV out when I saw this hardware based factory reset method which I had not seen anywhere else. It worked like a charm! The TV comes on when you are holding the power button and plugging it back in, but hold it for the full 60 sec. I had to reactivate my roku account and other channels, but its great!

@@FIXNETFLIX again, these are basic networking solutions that dont apply specifically to TCL. I have tried all of the above already as that is already common knowledge. My issues is the title is misleading as it doesnt tackle any solutions inherently specific to TCL and could be equally applicable to any other device that connects to internet.
Literally need to do this. Mine works now The first is to restart your WiFi router and then restart your TV by going to Home > Settings > System > Power > System restart > Restart and select OK on your remote.
If everything is good from our side like internet, router working, ethernet cable working,. Password correct and even then if TCL smart is not connecting to internet then change the date & time from automatic to set manual correct date and then again revert back to automatically update and sync. This will fix. I had the experienced the same and I got this info from TCL technical team over phone

I have the same tv..TCL 55in..the tv was fine for a while..only in the last couple months it's been spotty with the wireless connection..I've always had wireless connection..I'll be running Sling or Netflix or Vudu and then itll freeze with the loading icon..then tv will say there is no internet connection but when I check my connection it says my connection is great or excellent..thought it was my internet modem or my wifi router but both are fine..I tried the firmware update from this video since that was the only solution that seemed to pertain to me..not sure what's going on
I'm having the same exact issue with mines. It says I have a connection and it's excellent, heck my modem is right next to the tv so there is no reason it shouldn't connect, but mines still wont connect. That's the only issue I have with TCL is their network connection.

My TCL tv is only 2 years old and doesn’t have these options at all. There is no AV Reset option or a Network Status option anywhere. I have a very nice new router that’s maybe 10ft from the tv and it won’t connect to the internet via wifi or even brand new ethernet cord.

I had to factory reset my tv due to it not loading certain apps like Hulu and sometimes even netflix . Mine is really strange some days it works fine and then all of a sudden with the light on it will start blinking twice and up in the options when you're in the menu it will blink connected then not connected then connected then not connected.
