I too feel like I need to use a powder after my foundation to help it from migrating into the lines though out the day on the days I need my makeup to last multiple hours. That said, I’m 62, (closer to 63 😂), with dry skin. I’ve found that the honest beauty works well & doesn’t get excessive & dry me out, that one’s a setting powder. For finishing powder, (which I pretty much always go over my face with a light application to blend & smooth everything out before my setting spray), is by Sorme which is made with skincare in the powder & I really like the way it just softens my look 😊 thanks again for your hard work in helping us mature beauties still wanting to look our best no matter how many birthdays we’ve been blessed with!!!

I'm in the same situation very dry skin foundations by the end of the day just suck the moisture out of my skin no matter how much moisturizer I have on but there's times I do need a little bit of extra powder or something to take care of the texture. Thanks for sharing

It’s so true that dry skin absorbs foundation. I think that’s what you said. Everything I put on my skin gets absorbed after a little while. Thanks for sharing your powder favorites.

Great video!! I only started wearing powder to lessen the “glow” of so many of the different sunscreens out there. Maggie, what foundation have you found does not rest/sit in dry patches on your face. This is a struggle for me even with moisturizing.

I have a question, do you put any powder under your eyes? I never have because i have wrinkles and every powder just settles in those nasty the things. I will be 60 soon and I'm on a journey to look my best and finding the best makeup is just party of saud journey. Any help is most appreciated!
