Helpful to understand what to check and where to go. Checked the relays and nothing popped on the meter, thought I was doing something wrong. Ended up just tapping the relays a bit and putting everything back together. Ran a dry cycle and it seems to be working fine! Hope it stays that way. Thanks for all the help!

Thanks for the video I had the same issue on my Samsung but before I took it apart I tapped on the side of the dryer around the breaker area and it worked 🤷 I greatly appreciate you posting this video seems like the breakers get stuck as you mentioned 😁. I've had my dryer for 2+ years and this was the first time it's given me issues. Dang thing was expensive 😓

Thanks for the Video. I was having the exact same presentstion of issues. I tried long and short powerdowns, unsticking the buttons, button holds, and was getting ready to open the dryer up to attempt to unstick the relays and had the idea to try from the outside first, so I gave it a few hard wacks with my hand on the left front side of the dryer (where the control box is mounted) while is was powered down. Powered it back up and it has been working fine. It seems as though my issue was a stuck relay as well. Thanks again!

This comment just saved me a LOAD of headache and hassle. I got 20 minutes into the video, fully prepared to take my entire dryer apart, before starting to scroll through the comments. I stumbled on this, got up and whacked the side as you mentioned, plugged it back in and VOILA! Like magic it’s stopped beeping and flashing that error code. Thank you!

Loved this video, wasn’t sure what was happening but it was very satisfying at 2x speed. Right now my dryer also has a 3C problem, don’t know what to do :P, without it being even turned on, if you close it, it spins and makes the sound

Yeah, that is a stuck relay. You might be able to fix it by exposing the relays and lightly tapping on them. It’s worth a try. Thanks for watching!

Relays are the black components you can see about the 27 minute mark in the video. You can see me tapping on them to ‘unstick “ the internal points.

All I had to do was scrub my dryer plug with a wire brush. Thanks I did all the easy stuff before disassembling my dryer. 👍🏾

You might want to replace that receptacle if one of your prongs looks like it got hot.

I have a 3 year old Samsung dryer. The same problem you were having was happening to me. It wouldn't turn off. I unplugged it for awhile, watched your video, found some info online that said all I had to do was unplug the dryer for 2 or 3 minutes, then it would clear itself ... and it did! What an odd problem and error code.

I had a dryer (dont remember the brand) that gave no heat. Turned out to be one of those early models where they started to hybrid in electronics. It had 2 identical plug in relays that closed contacts for the motor and heater. When I swapped the relays the motor wouldn't start. Bad contacts... Turned out that the coil to actuate the contacts was 5v from the computer board (more on that later). P/N was on the relay so I found the exact thing on Digikey for about $3, compared to $25 and a 30 day wait. Part arrived 5 days later, swapped it in and it worked. 2 years later, the machine came back. But this time there was no 5v coming out of the board. I sold him an old school machine. I could buy a new board, but I'm gonna look into doing a micro solder repair if I ever find an obvious problem with the board. I got interested in microsoldering by watching the early videos by Louis Rossmann. We might have to resort to that should parts get scarce. Too bad there's no schematic/info avail on the boards.

@@HarperandKnowles FYI...most digital stuff runs on 5vdc. Even car sensors. Most common problem for me has been the power supply that converts 120vac to the 5vdc. So...one day I might fix that board.

3C error code fixed. After watching your video while unplugged I plugged back in and lone behold problem still so I before taking all apart repeatedly tapped and pressed play/pause button 7-8 times and SUCCESS!!! button on panel I must assume was just stuck, new rule be gentle with the button lol
