I (Rainer) was aware of the challenges of buying a Discovery. Vera and Christian live not far from me and after I contacted them by e-mail, me and my buddy JoJo (Joachim) were allowed to visit them at home. I know now what it means to own an LR-Discovery through them both and "OMG" I'm so thankful for their great support. In the near future, the "disco" is to be transformed from a simple "mall crawler" into a nice offroad-camper. So there are more exciting adventures to be expected. I look forward to it.

Not sure about Germany but I've worked for Peugeot and VW/Audi dealers here in the UK, all routine servicing and new vehicle pdi's were done by YTS lads working to a sheet, people were paying £70 an hour labour for a lad that was paid £35 a week back then! Could see them telling friends how their car had a full main dealer service history! They'd have probably been better taking it to a good independent specialist from day 1. I've also had recent experience with Ford and Renault main dealers and the service was beyond bad.

Last bill was €3000!!!! You bought a Mercedes for that money 😂. Seriously I would only buy a LR if it was maintained by you two. Great work as always.

When I lived in the UK (I now live in Austria) my local landrover dealer supported me very well when I bought my first 300tdi defender at aged 20..

Good thing is. With a Land Rover, you always has something to do. You are never gonna be bored, and you can always have your coffee after you are done working.

Shocking that there isn't a recall/service bulletin for that air intake piece. Thanks again for your excellent content. Love seeing your videos traveling through the Alps.
