I have a HP Windows 11 laptop, when i go to advanced app settings the "choose where to get apps option doesnt show up, but everything else does. What is the problem?

Are you able to get back into S mode after deactivate it?

I just bought my PC few days ago. I found my PC is Windows 11 Home Single Language and not in S mode. I already choose 'Anywhere' choose where to get apps. But still I cant install any non verified application, it always showed up "search app in the store?". does anyone know how to fix it? Its really frustating after days cant still find the solution please helllpppp mee 😥

Hey sir, this won't work for me. When you said to go Apps and Advanced app settings I don't see the button where it says "Choose where to get apps". Everything else shows like Share across Devices and etc but all except for that specific button, what do I do?

Removing s mode solved my problem. I believe when s mode is actually activated you dont even have the option "choose where to get apps" So in order to even enable that option first you must disable "s mode" I guess s mode is microsoft's little safty net pre installed on some systems. Disabling it was like peeling off the plastic on a new pc 😂😂😂

If y’all are looking and anything does not work look to see if you have any other Microsoft accounts on your laptop or Computer that could be the main account and do what he says and it may ask you to log into your Microsoft account and log into the account you want it on and it should work

I still had issues switching the S mode off after purchasing my laptop windows 11 gone through all the tutorials on RU-vid had to offer, but after the 3rd day i could finally switch it off. I was frustrated but I made sure I was up to date with the software and kept trying each day.
