I was facing this problem for year, Thank you so much for sharing, it so very helpful for me.

My similar unit works great, it’s cool because it looks oem and gives you some of the modern features we are all accustomed to these days. It may be a gamble for some however, shipping is fast therefore it won’t be too much of a hassle to ship it back for another one. Overall I think it is worth the trouble.

really depends on if the issue is hardware or software related. if its software. one company might have a more reliable app or shell program that runs it on top of the android OS.

Glad you got the buttons sorted Jason. The pumpkin one is different cosmetically. Maybe they're all the same inside but I've had no problem with connecting my iPhone to the Bluetooth to answer calls hands free which is the law here and my iPod connects for music which I haven't used since I got the Poweramp App.

My car had an eanon unit in it when I got it almost two years ago. Mine does take a long time to start up though, like all I see is the bmw symbol on the screen for a good 20-30 seconds on startup lol One time I put it in reverse when it wasn't finished starting up yet and I guess it didn't like the backup camera coming on when it was still booting up because it froze with the bmw symbol on the screen. Even after shutting the car off and back on it was still froze like that. The next day I had to do a factory reset and that fixed it. Been good since that one time. And I listen through Bluetooth with my android and the quality of fine for me. But radio is louder than Bluetooth. Like volume 10 on the radio is the same level of output as Bluetooth on volume 15. I can live with that though lol Maybe just the faces out the housing of these units are all the same. Like one company makes the face and housing and then a bunch of other companies buy them and put their own electronics in them? Hence some booting up way slower and some having different issues and whatnot?

I'll stick to my Bluetooth FM transmitter. It works awesome!

Hello, I have a similar device like this one with software oreo(8.1).My car is a ford fiesta 2006 model.The problem who i'm trying to solve is that I can't change the panel of the colors. When I turn the lights on in the car, im trying to sellect any color i want from the panel(Element) but it doesn't let me to make my choice and the only color is give me is the red.I can adgust only this color.What is the problem and i can't change the colors?Do you think maybe its a software-hardware problem or a cable wiring problem?I try to make some changes in the settings with "RGB" options but I couldn't fix the problem. The installation was done by the specialized technician of the store where I purchased the device.Can you help me? Thanks.

The factory code is not always 126, I have a android 6 based seicane and the code is 1617. I currently use a Android 8 based pumpkin unit and it works great, did have a Bluetooth problem with a Motorola Z2 force but once I switched to a 1+ 6t phone all issues went away.

It would be amazing if you could do a review on the upcoming AVIN Avant 3. It looks promising, but the real question is whether it will be buggy/unreliable like it's predecessors.

I've just installed a Chinese head unit for a Mk7 transit, everything work as it should, apart from the buttons don't light up at all, even with the lights on, I only got it today, and spent 3 hours removing my old radio and installing the new one.. Grrrr

If you look at the left power/volume knob there is a small hole on the lower right side. That should be your built in microphone and maybe why that external mic you added doesn't work right. I have an almost exact head unit and that's what I did and the person I am on a call with could hear me perfect. Get rid of the external mic, you don't need it.

Hello, Bought an bmw e46 with an actual Eonon ga6150f unit. It seems the lower half of the touchscreen is inactive. This means to say I can not get at the settings icon to perhaps reset the unit. Is there anotherway to reboot the unit to factory settings which may or may not reactive the lower half of the touchscreen functions? To recap. The top part works fine and the screen itself is ok. Where it says BT in factory settings change it to SD or SP something like that instead of MD725 I never have connection issue calling or music playing... My only issue is music isnt as clear as aux or usb. Alil static on high vocals kinda annoying

That's almost the same ROM as on my Erisin 4046. Have you thought about installing a custom ROM, maybe Malaysk (XDA Developers)? Just watch out to find the proper ROM for your Chipset. Don't the Unit has an "Stand by" option as my Erisin? It's for shutting down the unit, not just for staying in Stand by, shurelly to not drain the battery. Mine is set to 10 minutes Stand by, after that it takes about 30sec to boot up, it's actually an acceptable time; with the custom ROM even faster.

On some (my) units, it's Settings/Factory Settings/Touch Button Learn, then it's the sequence of Start/press the icon/press the button/End/Start/press the icon ... until they're all programmed. (If you exit before doing all of them, only the one you've done is programmed. Running the app seems to do an automatic Clear at the start.) 6 years later, but maybe this will help someone. (I figured out where to go by watching this video.)

I screwed up and bought this for my Tundra and I’m going through a living hell trying to return it! I payed with PayPal and still can’t get my money back. Did you pay with paypal? Mine came in an amazon box and I’m refusing to ship back to China. Those bastards bought it off Amazon after I bought it off their website. Learned my lesson but I’m afraid I may never get my money back. Can’t get any blue tooth to work with my iPhone with this thing.

I had the same problem with my head unit and i solve the problem of the bluetooth let me know if you still have the problem so i can help you solve it.

Did you find a way for the rear view camera to automatically turn on when you push into rear? I couldn't find the settings for it. I have to go to main menu and go to AV when I want my camera on.

That beep is so annoying, overall all those glitches made me lose interest in this android head unit. Another thing that bugs me is the lowest RAM which I can see being a problem in the future too.
