Nice work, you need to modify the direction of the Sand Dunes to make it in one direction not mirrored.

The end result of getting a full pyramid is quite nice. The fact that there is a Technic pin already present is fishy. LEGO wants us to buy two sets apparently...

I'm wondering if the pyramid "shell" should also be built as a whole in order to avoid the split down the middle. I'm guessing it might be hard to grip the shell though and remove it. I'm also tempted to just buy the pieces to make up the second half as you have done for just the base and pyramid shell (not including the unbuilt half underneath) as it seems a lot of pieces from the second set will be unneeded - I haven't figured out if this would be a cost saving or not.

Nice work. I suggest reversing the direction of dunes at the sides so they're all windswept in the same way. Also, the rear would benefit from sand too, instead of the layered darker plates. Being on the leeward side I don't think there would be dunes, but some texture would work

Amazing customisation, by any chance could you release the build instructions for the second half?

I love mythology, norse, Greek, Egyptian they're all really interesting. I love that Lego finally made a historical pyramid build but I just don't want to buy 2 to display it how I want. Hopefully I can find them on sale soon, it's a beautiful build I'd hate to miss out on it

This is superb attention to detail, and from the first reveal one of the largest glaring issues with simply placing two of these together. Not so much the surrounding Nile which you rectified beautifully but not having the inner duct system properly lining up. Reverse building it couldn't have been easy but the ending result when separated looks well worth the time effort.

Great job! I have been pondering something similar for this set, it was clear to me from the start that I would need two sets and more, as I also want to incorporate a Sphinx. Inspiring stuff!

I feel that I've been doing this a lot lately with Lego sets...that they're impressive, but in need of "fixing". I guess that's the beauty of Lego. I spent several weeks rebuilding and improving the Lego Titanic and just the other day I had to make a few small mods to my Optimus Prime to fix some minor problems. 🤷‍♂️. Stellar job on THIS mod...it would prove too expensive for me as I need the new castle! 👍

I love the historical accuracy of the white and gold, as well as the chambers.

Honestly, I like that the back is exposed. It shows the accurate tunnels carved into the real pyramid. Plus the front is so damn pretty by itself

I love everything EGYPTIAN so I'm definitely getting this especially the history of their empires and mythology a must have. The Nile inclusion is a great bonus with that solid layered depth building technique and the mini boats have some clever parts usage, I like micro builds but have never really gotten into them but these wonders of the world sub theme are very appealing hope they make Hanging Gardens of Babaylon or even a more stylised Mount Olympus would be cool. I'll be putting it right against the wall don't necessarily need a full pyramid as the illusion is created but would have preferred a full one with a more detailed interior with some booby traps love the other buildings included with the spire/tower and sphinxes and the overall foliage looks like a cracking build.

Could you please give us some instructions on how to build your mod, along with what extra pieces you needed? I just finished the first half and decided to buy a second one, so I'd LOVE to know how you changed it to work so well. Particularly mirroring the inside!

I'm honestly a little shocked they would make this set and only include half the pyramid xD Those connection points are a taunt- and it worked on you!

Given how much time and effort I put forth to get the Mos Eisley set, I can’t imagine just having it in a drawer I built. I am excited about the Pyramid set though. I’ll tide myself over with the Loop Coaster until August gets here.

If there would have been a full pyramid and not that much changes in design of the Temples and Pyramids in front of... and if Lego have been intelligent enough to place the correct picture of the Great (Khufu`s Pyramid) in the instruction.... and the price was still the same, I would love to buy that set. But the way they did is just so dissapointing!

I would love to see the same done with the Disney Castle, as it too is missing the back half. Except the back isn’t something you can base off the front design since it’s different. And it’s pretty evident in the front since spires in the back can also be seen in the front on the actual castle. Even the small version is just half the castle.

Ive made the pyramide outer layer in one piece and still have the cut underneath. Replaced one of the tombs inside with some gold artifacts. Made the river 10 studs wide with more boats and enlarged the village.

Is there any way you could supply a BOM in this description for the parts that you had to acquire extra?

It is designed a certain way so you can actually display it on a shelf or against a wall so it doesn't need to be ''fixed'.

Which pieces did you need to bring in? Where did you need to use them?

I wonder what a ‘minimal’ second half would look like. Skip the internals - just the outer skin and the internal bracing. May be possible to bricklink but I don’t know how rare those white old style roof bricks are?

lego should take note of these. For those who are considering doing it.

As for the complaints here. Lego offered this as a choice. You want a lower price and less size you build the kit as is. You want the full pyramid you buy two kits. You were not going to get the full size any cheaper. I feel they gave you the option not ripping you off. This kit could have been $260 and you had no choice.

Finished the full Pyramid on 25/06/2022, widened the river a few days later, now I'm designing the next stage to make it a 945mm long build. And yes I mirrored the dancing man AND changed the sand dunes
