How To Fix The Sound On An iPad EASILY (Tutorial) 

I CAN'T HEAR IN MY IPAD!!! AND IT FEELS LIKE I HAVE NO EARS!

LMAO IM SO DEAD I thought my iPad’s sound was broken but it was connected to my nana’s Bluetooth earphones no wonder she was watching her show while getting frustrated🤣😭

Who else tried to watch this on the ipad that doesn’t make sound

thank you I got water in my headphone jack and did the hairdryer trick etc but after doing that still on headphone mode so came on here found you went through all steps except the assisted touch followed that and brilliant now got sound back ! fantastic as I rely on this for work every day thank you !

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! My iPad Pro was stuck on headphone mode, even though I’ve never plugged any headphones in! I fixed it via your assistive touch/shortcut menu. The only advice Apple had online was to take it to an Apple Store where they have the same answer for every problem....YOU NEED A NEW ONE, I’LL BE HAPPY TO HELP YOU CHOOSE!!!!!

The last one worked for me in a way. I wasn’t going to delete everything I have on my IPad especially because it’s new, so I just reseted the settings only and it worked!

If you use ear buds or headphones, your iPad may automatically connect to those devices via Bluetooth without you knowing, and therefore you won't hear any sound out of the iPad because it's trying to play through a device that you are not using!. Check your Bluetooth section and make sure any devices found are disconnected. This has corrected my problem many times.

Good vid. My rocker is broken I think. Ipad on lowest sound but as soon I press the rocker either way it mutes it but assistive touched worked. I have sound again. Thanks

How I fixed mine: "hold down the off and home button for ten seconds, wait for screen to turn black. Once black, hold both again, it will show a white screen with the apple logo, wait for it it either say type password (if have) then just continue on with your sound! 😀👍🏻 Edit: Instead of wait for it to say type password (if have) just press home screen. Whopps! 😅

I tried all of this but they did’t work at all so I tried to Bluetooth it on my speaker and is has sound again

Thx!I just pressed the home button and on/off button until it went black then i pressed the on/off button then when it is back to your home screen turn on your sound and it will work (It will only restart the apps or the bugs that happened)

I can’t believe the amount of people saying “why do you have to talk, I can’t hear.” Well more likely than not you would either be smart enough to turn on captions or watch on a device with sound.

You can restart your iPad if nothing works so you keep holding the off and home button

Wow! This was the answer to my problem. I have an older iPad that doesn't have that toggle switch on the side. I tried the second method (took a long time for me to swipe to reveal the controls) and discovered that my volume control was completely dark. When I put my finger on it I was able to bring it up to full sound strength and my test Vimeo had sound!! I had tried powing off, updating my settings increasing the sound with the buttons on the side, and asking Siri to turn up the volume. None of those worked!! I would never have had any idea that there was a sound control where it turned out the problem was! Still have no idea how it got turned off, but THANK YOU for the solution!!

I had this problem and even given to service centre and they charged ₹1250 and returned stating unable to rectify it. Then I used car vacuum cleaner to clear speaker portion and it started working thru speakers.

My iPad doesn’t have a mute button, I can’t get that control center up and when I go on general theres no button that says accessability, when I go to the accessability button, theres no button that says “AssistiveTouch“ I reset the iPad countless times yet nothing.
