Hello RU-vid! In this video, we will show you how to fix your mouse (USB cable or Bluetooth adapter) if it is not lagging or flickering or if it is not working properly on your PC and Laptop for Windows 10. This fix is meant as an easy and quick way to get your mouse running again but if this doesn't work, the recommendation is to first restart your PC after all the solutions and fixes, and then try reinstalling windows. Meant for all current Windows versions: XP, Vista, Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and of course Windows 10.

My mouse was lagging just a tiny amount 1-2 seconds every 10 seconds, but it was insanely frustrating trying to work and having to constantly try and figure out where my mouse cursor might be. The power saving and reinstalling drivers recommendations seemed to fix the problem. Thank you!

6:25 Try changing the mouse settings as suggested - turn off scrolling inactive windows, turn off enhance pointer precision, turn off hide pointer - before doing all the other more drastic measures.

Disabling the power management settings for USB controllers worked for me (counterintuitive since I'm using a bluetooth mouse, but if it works, it works). Thanks!

it's 2023, we have flying drones with weapons and robotic dogs able to walk on their own. Yet our bluetooth mouse keeps randomly disconnecting and we have to jump through hoops to fix the damn thing

Thank you so much, this solved my issues! I think disabling the "Scroll inactive windows when I hover them" multiple times and running the BT troubleshooter did it for me.

Thank you for the help! I usually keep my computer on, as it just takes forever for my desktop to shut down or even restart. My logitech USB mouse was laggy for some unknown reason. Your video was helpful, since changing batteries is usually the first thing I do when it happens once in a great while. I changed the port since I had it in the back and I even checked for updates and restarted my computer. Seems to be working like itself again. :)

the universal serial bus controller thing worked for me, thank you. I got a new mic and maybe when I plugged it in, it caused an error. Thanks again so much!

Very thorough, and it worked fixing an installation of new M575 trackball mouse :-) Weird issue where it was working fine until I plugged in a USB storage drive... then super, super, laggy. For me it was about 7 minutes in where I went through the mouse settings options. Turns out my SetPoint options were old as they were installed for another mouse long ago. The Logitech software recognized this and updated the software. All better now. Thanks!

I updated the driver according to your steps but my mouse stopped working immediately. After I tried to change it back it still couldn't work. How to solve this?

Cool, this saved my life! I ran the Bluetooth troubleshooter mentioned at 07:28 and it "Fixed my radio connectivity" and turns off and on the Bluetooth and the flickering is gone for good 🥳😍

it's because your wifi router seats next to your pc/device and interfers...try moving router or just turn it off and test the lag after.

My logitech vertical mouse works fine with the usb receiver, but it lags when I switch it to bluetooth. It didn't have this problem a few weeks ago and I've had this for months. What's up?

Hi, you are talking about fixing a lag issue with bluetooth mouse, there is not usb receiver for bluetooth mouse, it is added to the bluetooth in Windows 10

Pro tip: buy a quality brand-name mouse for $20 or more and never deal with these issues again, and don't bother with high-resolution audio drivers and other unrelated settings.

Thia is weird my bluethooth mouse works fine when notebook is unpluged but when i plug it in its start lagging when i check the power managment setting are same when pluged and unpluged any sugestions? (sry for bad en)

I have this annoying problem in FPS games whereby when I move my camera with my mouse there's what looks like a graphic wobble (almost like there is a slight motion blur) even with notion blur disabled in game, yet when I move the camera with an Xbox controller it's as smooth as silk. Polling rate is 1000hz, lowering this makes it even worse and mouse accel is disabled Any help would be great

My 2n1 Bluetooth mouse also have this problem.. my mouse works fine until it became lowbat. Then after i put my UBS chord to charge my mouse. My PC became lag. The shift key locks. And also in the screen it keeps selecting icon that starts in W I can't also type numbers when i type number only the special character appears.. I can't also select the start menu and all the taskbar.. it is so frustrating bcuz I can't restart my pc. I can't use alt+f4 keys.. The only method i can use to safe restart is the ctr+alt+delete then click sign out and at click restart at the bottom.. I try to use other mouse and it works fine in my pc. I don't know what happen to my Bluetooth mouse i think there is something on its own program.

Truth is that bluetooth is very slow... so you don't want many devices with bluetooth in one place...

Hello, I was playing valorant and suddenly my mouse started working weirdly there was a lot of delay i tried to change the dpi of my mouse but when i pressed the dpi button it opened ms office, i thought it is a glitch and tried again but it was opening office again and again. after that i deleted office and then on pressing the dpi button it is opening the ms office website and the dpi is not changing .i am using this mouse for about a year now and before it was working perfectly fine. it is a wireless hp mouse. this all started to happen yesterday. i will be really thankful if you could help. :(

Hi, I would suggest that you do an antivirus check first and then reinstall your mouse Bluetooth drivers. Let me know if it finishes your issue.

forget all this crap.... open device manager - network adaptors and right click over anything that says realtek and select uninstall device. Mouse starts working again. You can then right click on network adaptors select scan for hardware change and the realtek appears again, but the mouse is still fixed...
