@@mysonganteng7466 i managed to get an older version with the folder ,just search how to install gta vice city mods tutorial and the first one should be that video (the name of the guy is ClaronXK)install that stuff and remove the stuff you dont want,at least thats how I did it.

For everyone getting issues loading their Save Games, remember you downgraded versions so your old saves will not work anymore (unless you can find a converter like GTA:SA has)

@@Unrenowned_ Thanks friend, although I would recommend SA & LCS Vehicle Camera Port on mixmods since it the mod shown had a weird work around resulting in the camera fixing it self evertime,. There's also Classic AXIS (Also on mixmods, Junior_Djjr does an amazing job in maintaining old mods), if you really want that GTA IV angle. Other than that your tutorial is incredible.
Finally!!! thank you so much after trying so many other stuff I tried this and it worked!!! the only change I did was change the compatibility to vista.
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart!! works perfectly. The only thing that's absent is the vehicle camera angels since the link is broken but besides that, everything runs smoothly and the game is very fun and feels recent and up to date.
@@jetthoncho151 Im not sure I get your problem but if you mean if you try to use it, it does a weird zoom thing, try switching camera views by pressing V to a different one. I found there are two that are similar in distance from the player, but one is very buggy.

Anyone else get the issue where after a short time in the main menu before even playing, the screen goes black for 10 seconds or so and then when it comes back there's no audio? This was happening both before and after doing everything in this video.
Found a fix (at least for now). I suspected the issue had to do with it being full screen. There is no windowed mode option, but with the widescreen fix you can instead create a file called 'wndmode.ini' in your base game folder. It doesn't need any information written in it. If you're not familiar with how to make an ini file, you can copy and paste another ini file, rename it to 'wndmode' and remove the text written in it. Worked for me. It's borderless windowed as well, so a pretty seamless fix.
I did everything on the video and when I load the game right when the game is about to start it crashes and another application shows up and it says : Unhandled exception : c0000005. At adress: 00652aa0. Help please ?

Hey, Thank you for the tutorial and i want to clarify you don't need to do the silent patch thing with the maps, you can put the modified data folder and add them into the old vice city folder and replace it like that. it is actually a life saver on windows
Serious issue, the game launch for sure, I see it in my task manager, but I get nothing on my screen, I have to kill the game in the task manager since it doesn't launch. Tried 5 different steam games I have installed, and they all work fine, so there must be something that is messed up.
The camera angle I had was an issue when I view to the left and right it go further away to the car so hard to fire while on the move...... Not my style
So I downloaded everything and followed the steps correctly and I can see the frame rate has been fixed as well since the menu looks a whole lot better. The problem is whenever I try to load in my save file of a game I previously had or hell I even loaded up a new game, it gets stuck in the loading screen. Please help me out asap
man, I tried everything I've seen on youtube and nothing works for me, the downgrade, give it administrator permissions, use the d3d8.dll file for the crash, put the silentpatch on it and nothing works for me, I've been trying since yesterday to put the mod classic axis and it doesn't work for me, it always crashes me, and if I try to use the vice city with pure downgrade it also crashes me, what else can I do?
Have you tried to do a 100% clean reinstall of the Steam version? When it uninstalls however, go to where it was installed and delete the “Grand Theft Auto Vice City” folder and once you reinstall the game, verify it, and then follow the instructions in the video.
Asking community for help. I followed this tutorial and did everything to the T and it ran fine until I unlocked the whole map. Now when i go to the second half of the map the frame rate noticeably drops, does anyone else have this issue?
when i go to "new game" the game gets stuck in an infinite loading screen, what do i do? it also crashes and a window pops out saying "unhandle exception" and then a long number
Excuse me, can I fix the game without using that downgrade patch ? I find out that if you replace the original gtavc.exe with the one in the downgrade pack, then it’ll be unable for the players to trigger the paramedic mission by pressing the capslock button in the ambulance. At first, I thought this problem might be caused by other fixing process, then I planned to try them one by one. But I found the cause at the very beginning. When I played the game with the original gtavc.exe, the paramedic mission could still be triggered. But, when I replaced it with the gtavc.exe in the downgrade pack (without finishing other fixing process), the paramedic could no longer be triggered.
Anyone know how to fix the sound issues? The game was working fine before, but now I have issues with sound effects cutting out for some reason. Switching from __dsound3d software emulation__ to __rad game tools rsx 3d audio__ fixes the issue, but then the graphics gets glitch for things like car collision and explosions. There's no problem with GTA3, just Vice City. EDIT - I fixed it. Apparently the Spatial Sound on my system got turned off at some point. Setting this back to DTS: X Ultra, and I can now hear the sounds for __DSound3D Software Emulation__ :D
hi, if someone could help me it would be a great help. When i installed all the mods it worked fine, but when i turn off my pc and turn it back on gta doesn't want to open, it opens, but after a second it goes black and doesn't load the game. does anyone know why? thanks.
I installed all thiis plugins/mods in the order described in this video and the first tow days it worked correctly, but after two days I have an unhandled exception which code is c0000096. I would like to know what could I do to fix this cause the game starts correctly but after selecting one of my saved games It stops and never loads the game again. Should I remove all the mod files from the root file and then reinstall them. Somebody?
yo does this work with the RGL version? also for some reason when i downgraded my RGL copy, it can only work with either CLEO or Silentpatch alone. Not both. Cause when i downloaded both and launch GTA Vice City, I get unhandled exception error, even though I have Ddraw.dll........I mean My game still works fine but it just limits my ability for mods, seeing as most require CLEO and SIlentpatch Together.
The game doesn't stay at the screen resolution when I load my game. It reverts back to 640x480 every time I load the game even tho i saved it at a higher resolution... Is there a way to fix this?
Which one of these mods breaks auto aim? I installed all of them and now I can't lock on to people even though I have controller settings set to classic.
It's the Vehicle Camera Movement mod that breaks auto aim. [VC]VehCameraMovement causes auto aim to not work at all regardless of controller settings. I am struggling to find a solution to this
I did everything, but i have some issues. For example, my reverse is not working all the time. And my cutscene is always bugging, like i watch the whole thing and when its ends, everything is just black screen. Then i wait for like 2-3min , minimize my game , pop it up again and after that everything is working. Just wanted to play for nostalgia and i didnt expect such a disappointment. Also tired of looking for solutions and many more things. Thank you.
If we downgrade the steam or rockstar launcher version of the game, then the game has nothing to do with them anymore right? So could I copy the game folder and share it with my friends?
