What do you do when the voice activation mic is x'd out not allowing you to send a voice message

I can hold mine down it doesn't work. It only lets me voice to text not record a voice message. Does anybody know how to help me?

If your button is gone they moved it to the option menu right on top of the keyboard

This whole thing had to do bluetooth!! I could have saved myself time since ive never connected a bluetooth device to this phone. A bit upsetting. We dont have the attention spans today for things that dont apply unfortunately
