This is my 2000 suburban, I was having problems with water getting in my driver and passenger floor when it rained. So I decided to check out the problem and, I think I found a solution. The water is coming in from the normal drainage on the side of the door that the truck has for when it rains. I can just put caulking on the plastic but if I have to move the door or the wiring I might have some trouble taking it off, or it may be even worst, cause if I have to take it off, i might have to tare it off. So instead I made a hole thru the foam that's there. I didn't find anything that it could harm!
Im not a mechanic or a technician this is something i just did to stop my trucks floor from getting soaking wet every time it rained. Thanks for watching!
TIP: This should also work for silverado, tahoe, and suburbans 99-06.
