whenever I turn on the laptop I found red cross sign on internet icon and WiFi icon is disappeared .Whenever I open change adapter option I couldn't find WiFi adapter there.
before watching the video I read comments first and saw someone commenting that he just restarted his pc, I tried and Oh my goodness It actually works Thank you to that commentor haha
Hi bro i just need an help with you in my laptop when i browse any website it shows me an error or no internet even if i connect with wifi plz help me to fix it and i have a windows 10 pro 64 bit os
I was flipping out when i couldn't connect to the wifi but after watching your video i restarted my laptop pressed esc when rebooting got into the BIOS found the wifi setting and reset it to factory setting and reset my lap top and its working again ! You are Awesome !!!! Thank you
I haven't felt so grateful for a video before! Thanks dude, you're great, and I love your accent too (no homo) My problem was the simplest of things but I wouldn't have known it without you, thanks a lot!
This will help you for sure! 5 simple steps! 1. press Home + R button 2. Fill "cmd" and hit OK 3. Write this: ipconfig/release 4. press enter. 5. Disconnect wifi and connect again.
Option #2 at network adaptor it was enabled but not working. You didn't mention running a diagnostics like I did and the laptop fixed the connection issue. I'm computer illiterate but you got me half way there lol 🤣😂
Button to turn on/off not helping, Internet icon on buttong not even showing up, yellow sign on intel wireless adapter in device manager, None of the solutions ive tried fixes it even when i did a system restore it worked but the next day the issue came back. This happened after i updated to win10 1903 any ideas on how to fix? Any help is appreciated.
Thank-you. My network driver needed to be upadated and I had no idea. Literally went to bed with it working and woke up this morning without the ability to connect to the internet.
So I see a lot of people have the same issue, and I did too for a while, but make sure that you have intel driver and support assistant, so that all of the drivers in your pc (including WiFi related drivers) are always up to date, because when they’re not up to date, that is where the issue may stem from.
Will try to work my way through this lot. This is more thorough than other 'advice' on the website. It gives me more hope of being able to solve the problem.
Just a thought. As a telecoms. network guy my 1st check when I get a problem would be connections are sound. So I suggest that if you've been in your machine , maybe swapping a drive, check those network card connectors haven't been dislodged. It's easy to knock one off, and same goes for bluetooth. It would suck to go through all the other checks and fixes only t find it was such a basic problem. . Another great video, very well made, comprehensive, and no music :)
When I have a red x it diagnose as Ethernet cable broken. My computer stuttered than I will get the red x. And in the network connections all of the icons are gone.
Thank you so, so much!!!!!! I was so stressed trying to figure out what was wrong and sick of getting troubleshoot messages that weren’t very helpful and then I found you. Second tip and it was all sorted. Thank you 😊 👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
My laptop has previously been connected to my home wifi. However now, for whatever reason it has disconnect and does not show the network as available. My laptop displays my neighbours wifi etc but not my home. My home wifi definitely works as my phone/xbox are connected. The only issue is with my laptop, could anyone help?
I will try your solution one by one. I tried two wifi card without downloading the driver because windows 8.1 don't see the hardware for wifi. I did not know that there is an option in BIOS to enable and disable the wifi if so, I wonder how it was changed. But anyway, I love your to-the-point video and most importantly your heavy, cool and beautiful accent in your commentary: that was really great. Your resolutions and suggestions are evident of your deep knowledge. Thank you very much for sharing. I gave you a thumbs UP.
cewtiepie I got it fixed, I contacted windows support. Connect your computer by ethernet, download the wifi driver manually online. If it doesn’t work, contact them and they will fix for free in 15-30mins :)
Quick question. I'm using realtek 8811cu wireless usb adapter for my desktop and its working fine just recently. All the sudden ive been encountering intermittent connection. How to fix this?
@1:22 the first problem was the reason why my computer was not connecting. You have no idea how much I freaked out I tried so many things and nothing worked but you did thank you 😊
I right clicked on my Wi-Fi in network connections and disabled and then enabled again and boom instantly was connected to the internet again. Either my neice messed something up or connecting my bluetooth device did.
I just found this video and it really helped me. My problem was the minor one I didn’t know until I found this video. Because of that I subscribe to you. I was having this problem for like a month now, and no one was able to help me. Not knowing the switch was just turn off. Thank you very much💃🏽💖👏🏾
It turns out I had to press the Function key (Fn) + F11 (the key with the wifi icon) what bothers me is that windows never required this for me, not in this computer, it would always start automatically... Does anybody know why?
@@amrhnnn thanks man for showing concern. Although I tried finding wireless LAN option but I failed. I have Dell Inspiron 3542 with win10 machine. Could you suggest me any other way please?
My problem is the exact opposite, I don't have an ethernet. Everytime my computer runs in to a damn error or it shuts down due to a power outage, when it reboots, my network connection automatically switchs to ethernet, I don't have a damn ethernet 😡. And if that's not obnoxious enough, it takes me nearly a damn hour to fix the issue. If a computer doesn't have an ethernet cable, then it shouldn't be automatically changing my WiFi to an ethernet, it doesn't make any logical sense. Something that never existed shouldn't just spontaneously start showing up. Anyway this is one of the main reasons why I never use my damn computer anymore half the time is because im more then fed up of running in to stupid shit like this. The only time I use my computer is for research purposes or when I'm writing a story. Only thing I can say is that I just want this problem to stop occurring every god damn time my PC has a problem.
Okay, my pc is an HP-Probook laptop running on Windows 8.1, here, I have no Wi-Fi icon showing, only Ethernet, and my cable is too short. My pc literally forgot it could use Wi-Fi. And I tried to update my driver (btw my adapter is in the « masked adapters » in the device manager), and it says it’s updated. I then got into the bios and none of those « wireless » options showed up. I then tried to install windows 10 but something wasn’t working right. I also tried enabling manually my driver - didn’t work, I also tried to install a new adapter - didn’t work, and my memory is globally okay with 300GB left to use. Please help guys, I really need this computer everyday and it’s been 3 weeks since I can’t use it.
I installed windows 10 in my macbook pro. And now I cannot install network adapter. Hell I cannot even hear sound, and my keyboard backlight keys and volume keys not working. Please help!
He didn’t say this but if you have that button on computer that changes to white just. Go to WiFi setting and turn on wireless connection and hold that button and it might work for u
Thank you. It worked for me. Had to remove the laptop battery and hold the power button for 15 seconds, and had to disconnect the router (poweroff) and restart. Then switched on the laptop, scanned the networks and connected to the wifi.
EasyTechs 🙏 I am using Lenovo yoga 3 pro convertible Laptop. Everyday when the very first time I start the computer, no WiFi adapter is detected, usually after entering BIOS few times it works, but the Wireless settings in BIOS are always 'enabled', then it works fine throughout the day.
I've checked my network adapter list (Fix 2). However, it doesn't have Wi-Fi, what it shows is Bluetooth and Ethernet. I've bring my computer to the hands of a expert once, it used to work until now. Any help would be apprectiated.
I fixed it. Go to start, type services, run as administrator. Go to DHCP Client, check if the "Log On As" option is the same as the others, if it's not, right click DHCP Client, click properties, click the Log On tab, click Local System account, click apply, click general, put startup type to automatic, click Start, click ok. Go to task manager, click Windows explorer, click restart on the bottom right. If ur on Windows 7, just click Windows explorer (also known as explorer.exe), click delete on your keyboard, click file on the top left, click run new task, type explorer.exe Press enter Done. Hope I helped at least 1 person lol this was annoying to deal with. Edit : If your DHCP Client is greyed out, type it up on google cos there's steps to enable it on registry but too long to explain here sorry.
