Great tutorial . Thanks! De-selecting the 3rd item down in Privacy & Security / General section ("Let windows improve start and search results ....") will disable your most used programs from populating in the start menu. I use StartAllBack Windows 7 start menu style and I left this setting enabled.

Hey....turning off the camera access for all the apps is kinda dumb And also...is there any way to fix the choppy animations...like the start menu animation looks choppy and not smooth....like the microstutters while the start menu appears...I can see that in this video too

I made a huge mistake trusting Microsoft and upgraded to Windows 11. My 1500$ (Windows 10) laptop just became a 300$ (Windows 11) laptop. Can't even play a 4k video on Chrome without lagging! I have always stayed away from Apple till date, but this, makes me watch to switch to a MacBook and iPhone simultaneously!

No one is perfect and when you buy windows the product is yours to mess around with, freedom at its core, u pay extra for company brands n all that crap but windows will give back to our generations, donations and technology and education fundings come from this company…. Apple is awesome I have an iPhone, I hate apple as a company, they are great, why? Monopoly and love for money, they lag your crap on purpose so u can buy new ones and they have told their own customers that the iPhone can’t be everything they want but they will just change the prices and make you pay more. People still line up to this company in this sad days when our world is dying… but I’m just saying bro

It is still slow though upon start up. Im using a laptop i bought in 2018 it’s a core i5 lenovo ideapad 330 12 gn ram. Does this count? Also my desktop items are not ahowing the images. It’s just the default microsoft icon

I have a few bugs with Windows 11, and the ones that annoy me are, UWP apps don't show up upon opening, they appear open in taskbar but I have to press the icon 3 times for it to show up. 2, Discord shows a black screen when closing so I have to minimize it and close it from the taskbar. 3, sometimes moving windows around causes my mouse to be slow, if I stop using my mouse it keeps going until it catches up. Those are the top 3 bugs that annoy me the most and I can't seem to fix. Edit: I solved the laggy windows when moving around, I didn't realize but it only affected Windows Explorer, and the fix was uninstalling Open-Shell, I had my taskbar translucent blurry so it looked modern, but it made Explorer laggy as hell. A soft bandage was limiting my gaming mouse from 1000hz polling rate down to 125hz, it still lagged but much much less.

@@sir.niklas2090 Yea I fixed all the bugs with Windows 11, my dumbass had a Windows 10 2004 specific theme that did not work on Windows 11, once I switched to a Windows 11 compatible theme all of my problems disappeared. But now the settings app takes like 10 seconds to complete an action, if I press on something it takes a bit to complete.

Wow this actually worked. Thank you. "Enable peek" was the big one for me. Entire pc (brand new build and windows install) would lag while downloading but that fixed it.

Does anyone has this problem? I have official upgrade from win 10 to 11 on my dell. Now when I right click on anything in windows explorer, the menu automatically disappears and on the 2nd time it stays open. And in windows explorer is laggy and the desktop is also a bit laggy

Using w11 for one week. The performances was much better in laptop when I switched to extreme performance in power plan. But for no reason. This settings just worked one day and half. The system went to hibernate and turned off. The system was so laggy in everything. Tried deactivate some features and made changes to set the cpu speed to the highest speed. But nothing works. So, I rollback to w10. I’m really like W11 but there needs to much work before to switch to W11 as work env.

I’m not getting bad system performance in general, nor a loss of frames in games.. but I notice that IN GAME, When I click on a menu option or switch screens, there’s a delay that wasant there on windows 10.. Once I get in game it’s gravy and I have frames as normal ! Any ideas?

it for some reason didn’t work for me. my problem is that like after 10 mins of me being on my laptop, the whole thing lags out, not just a game. i then restart it and it doesn’t do it. But say i turn my laptop off and get back on it later, it will lag out. any solutions?

Bro I had the same problem: but here's a * fix * 😃 Press * CTRL+ALT+DELETE * Then click *Task Manager* . When it opens It shows the list of running apps. Now click on *more details* [] *Arrow down* [] And here you are🙂
