Thank you so much, I had performed a brief clean of my machine (as I do every week) then choosing to restart my PC. Upon rebooting it entered this strange state where the 'Welcome' screen (now in a bootloop) was in a combination of wingding and (seemingly Chinese) fonts, this being problematic for me to follow your tutorial I quickly was able to change the language back to English - now able to follow your video. As scary as dealing with System32 and using CMD with little experience was, the process was easy to follow and worked instantly. Thank you for providing clear instructions, and that actually work. I'll be backing up my data today, as a future precaution. haha

I did it all step by step but now i get a totally black screen for 3-4 minutes after windows has loaded the files and after windows has shown the starting screen... then the windows install screen shows up again - any solutions?

when i try recovery option tool it says this version of system recovery option is not compatible with version of windows you are trying to repair...what 2 do...pls help......

i have a question, i have tried to do the other options (besides command prompt) but it turned out i never made a sys recovery when i thought i had... but i have gone through my hard drives to find the program files, etc in command prompt but for some odd reason it doesn't show up? maybe i'm just not looking hard enough, but it either gives me and error not found or a bunch of other files that aren't the files shown on the screen. but i have gotten a repair disc to see if that solves the issue... but does anyone have any advice on that matter? i'm kind f trying to AVOID resorting to bringing my computer to a shop.

Hay I follow exact steps which you shown in Video, but it fails. Even in the last scene the amount should be Zero come same in my case. Then what go wrong ? It is showing me black screen after restarting...... File: \Windows\ system32\config\system status: 0xc0000225

So the start up repair does not work for me and I dont have any other recovery tools if I get the disk will the other recovery tools pop up?

In my case those options with safe mode appears and when I start my computer normally a disk checking option appears and than it says an unspecified error has occurred and than that black screen with cursor appears I followed above steps but nothing happened help please!!

I created the repair disc on a usb stick, and when i got to the part where i change from X: drive to C: drive, I could not see my hard disk with the Program Files folder bla bla... Any thoughts?

I am trying first install on a non partitioned hdd. Dell Optiplex 980. The CD just loops again and again but never gets to the install screen.

Customer had hack and changed startup password. Doubted this would work but now system is running again! Put this video in my toolbox for future use. Thanks!!!

I made a mistake in last proccess . I type that copy command for my system when it shows in all values in 0..now my system didnt log in and didnt show system restore ,command prompt,.only show one option is startup repair again and again it comes the same option of startup repair .so please help me to find a problem..

I have the startup repair loop after doing a factory restore. Is it okay to continue if all those have zeros ? Or is it pointless either way? I'd reinstall but the copy is not validated and pc is out of warranty now so they'll charge for a back up.

so I did everything in your guide, and when I restart it takes me back to the Windows 7 Installation screen again.....was I suppose to remove the disk first?

hi , i followed every step in this vid but then i hit restart it still keep on booting to recovery section..when i do the 2nd time same like in this vid its say ' A subdirectory of backup file already exists ' then i stop there ...

how to remove .. shows that reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key when i press any then it will display again and again . same

AvoidErrors Hey man can you please help me? My computer is stuck on the "Starting Windows" logo and then it restarts and again it goes back there. I also can't open other types of boot methods like safe mode etc. The only options that can i can access is the "System Recovery Options" which every methods won't work for instance the system restore doesn't have any restore points and the startup repair can't automaticaly fix the problem. I used the command prompt just how the video represents but all default, sam, etc has 0 values. Can you help me out?

I have this problem but the issue is that when I try to boot from a Win7 DVD (working on other PCs) it stuck on Starting Windows or just appears a blue screen giving me a list of problems that I could have. The PC start normaly when I unplug it from energy or remove the battery, giving me a message about the CMOS seting wrong. I only load the default values and the Windows works great. The first restart after this cause me the problem of the infinite reboot. Is this a BIOS trouble?

HI! I just bought my new gaming pc with a mother board MSI B150M Night Elf. Upon installing the OS which Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit I sucessfully installed the OS and the normal screen was appeared just a bout 1 mintune and it was automatically shutdown, and after the shutdown it will go back to the windows installation repeatedly and when I scanned the disk the installed OS is available on the drive D. But the only problem it won't start up. Do anyone experiencing this type of problem? any advice on how to fixed the problem is much appreciated. Thanks

Hi I had windows 7 32bit and some of the drivers needed 64bit so I tried to downgrade to vista 64 bit and it said something like error while loading... Now when I start up it infinitely boots it and when I try to go on the command prompt it won't let me the only thing it allows me to do is repair and it asks me to load drivers or next when i try to click next it says its not compatible. Then I found out it was a 7b error and I don't know what the problem is I think it's to do with the hard drive

Can i use this procedure for bootable USB drive? If yes! Then what i have to write instead of CD?

sir on my pc windows xp sp2 works absolute fine... but further versions windows xp sp3, 7, 8 gives restart problems after installation but when i uninstall graphics driver it doesn't restart but none of the software get installed due to lack of graphics driver... but in windows xp 2 graphics driver dnt give problem... sir plzz give soln..
