Fiat is know for electrical problems. Today we are fixing the cables that runs from the body of the car into the tailgate.
If you find the same problem on your car or start seeing som signs that the cables is staring to crack, its a very good idea to start fixing the problem before it shorts the electrical system or fault would start to appear.

WAS THE REPAIR DIFFICULT? How long did it take you to complete it?

I can be a little difficult, and you will need the tools for the job, but as long as you mark the cables so it all goes back together the same way again, you should be fine :) About 3 Hours, but i was recording, so probably a 1,5 hour job

@@RasmusSunshine thanks. May I ask one more thing? When I striped mine down I found two distinct sets of cables. 12 cables wrapped with tessa tape and another set of 12 cables also wrapped in tessa tape. Two distinct rows of cables. Was it the same thing with yours?

Can’t really say, I bought the car with the cables damaged as shown on the video, but yes, it looks like there where 2 bundles wrapped in tessa tape, but I think it depends on what the car is equipped with. But as long as you get a repair kit that have the amount of cables you’ll need you should be good.
