How to fix Xbox One Green Screen of Death (No USB) IN REAL-TIME!

Everyone this really works!! Thanks whoever made this! If your controller turns off like mine did swap the batteries or turn off your Xbox and turn it on and try again. Try to turn on your controller and try the trick before 1 minute of the green screen!

You’re good to update the thumbnail, this just saved me big time on Feb 8, 2022. I tried dozens of other methods from other videos and this is what finally helped. Things I ran into: Controller wouldn’t vibrate at first, so I took the batteries out and tried again. No luck. I hit the sync thing on the Xbox and controller, then tried it. Vibration thing worked after that and proceeded as video instructed When my green screen disappeared, it flipped to the same grey/black screen that was shown for about 1 second in this guys video. My Xbox sat at that screen for about 3 minutes before going to the homepage. I touched absolutely nothing in this time, it just figured itself out. Hope this helps someone out there. Good luck!

It worked. I had to plug in the USB for my wireless controller because it would not vibrate. It finally vibrated after hooking it up, hit the button and 2 minutes later it worked.

If you have a white Xbox one this worked for me, turn on Xbox, press and hold at same time the eject disc button and the button that links your controller to the console (underneath the power on/off button) you will then get options, soon as you see the options release the two buttons. From there reset factory settings.
