THANK you for this video existing! I have been having so many issues with the tape lately! Hopefully I can fix it right now! I wonder why this happens and why it hasn't been discovered!
OK I am glad it worked for some of you but it does not work for me. My grandson completely unraveled my tape gun and I could strangle him, because now the tape is on the wrong side I tried it several times and I did not get any magic. It was working fine before now and now it just seems the tape is on the wrong side. I tried flipping it over but that isn't right either. How could it be on one side and then just flip over?????
I feel like such an idiot! I have had my atg gun for awhile , and tonight I was ready to throw it away until I found your instructions, simple instructions, might I add. THANK YOU!!!! Did'nt think I was going to sleep unless I got this fixed or replaced. This info was AWESOME!!!!!! Thank You again for sharing !!!!!
oh gosh - SO HAPPY I came upon this. My new gun arrived in the mail today (first time user) and I could not figure out how to load it - suspected the tape was on the wrong side and sure enough, your little trick worked! Saved my sanity - thank you!
Omg! You're a life saver! I took my gun apart and put it back together and that didn't fix the problem (I thought it had gotten too gummed up under the mechanism). So then I googled how to fix my ATG and this was the first thing that popped up and LO AND BEHOLD!!! A miracle. You're one smart lady. Thank you!
Hi Loraine, I to say THANK YOU very much. I went to put on a new roll of ATG tape and I found it was on the wrong side. Of course I went to youtube and found your video. Your video was a god send to me. I thought I was going to have to throw it away, but you saved it. Thank you again. Sharon
I tried the fix...it worked for a couple pulls on the gun and then the adhesive is on the wrong side again...just not working! :( Wasting my time and the money I spent on the box of two rolls of tape. Which by the way, they are both defective!! :( :(

This is the 714 model, and you can only use the 1/4" tape. There is an adapter that you can buy to use the 1/2" tape, but most use the 1/4". If you need a wider adhesive strip just run two lines of tape. Hope that helps b
I can't fix mine either. Not sure how I managed to make it inside out - something to do with peeling up the initial end, I guess. I went the wrong way. Thanks for the video, though! I tried! Lol

OMG....thank you so much for this video. I sent a roll back a couple months ago and they gave me a hard time telling me that it was user error! I just got another roll that the glue was wrong and almost wanted to cry as I'm right in the middle of a project. You are a life saver!
I finally got it but have to rewatch this video all the time. I tell you something else if you can afford it go online and buy the tape in bulk. The ones that hang in the store are hard to get to work. Google Me I am easy to find... and contact me I can explain better.
+Jumapili Ikuseghan Yeah!!!! Some tape is stubborn and takes several revolutions to get it going correctly. Like I said, don't give up lol. I do but my tape in bulk from Find tape.com. Super cheap!
The struggles of paper crafters... Really we need to have protest march about this tape bs. It has to be a plot by the man to keep us all down! I say we rise up and stand united against it!! LOL

Thank you soooo much this was the first time this happened to me... well I gave my older tape to my daughter and we came across this problem. Your video was a great help and I just happened to see it on the side bar of a different video.
