How to Flash/Unbrick/Update ANY Samsung Galaxy device via Odin 3 - Update to One UI 5

Great video. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra that I thought was factory-unlocked. It turned out to be a carrier-unlocked from AT&T. You can't get OTA updates unless you're an at&t customer. I've heard that you can flash the global international rom on the AT&T, turning it into the international model, but I'm afraid of bricking the phone. I did update it with the direct download from Samsung server with your method. I'm in Texas, but my mom was born in Radldorf. She moved here after meeting my dad who was on the U. S. Army. Some of most vivid memories from childhood involved driving to visit my Oma in Radldorf. It was really beautiful there-mostly farmers.😊

worked perfect. I just flashed my locked ATT S22U to unlocked firmware. Quick note at the end you don't have to reconnect the phone to get to recovery mode, you can just press and hold the volume up button and power button. Thanks for the tutorial.

For those who get a menu, leave the device unplugged, and select "reload to bootloader" you'll get the teal screen that says "Downloading..." then plug your phone in. Boom, Odin will start to do it's thing.

Not working!....My galaxy F41 SM-F415F is stuck in bootloop. I did all the steps shown in the video, but after installation through odin, the system rebooted and again got stuck in bootloop. It is only showing 'Samsung Galaxy F41' and is stuck there. i am not able to go to recovery mode Please help me here.

So after you reflash official firmware and relock your bootloader (while it was done after tampering your device:) you get play certificate back you can use banking apps normallly ota updates will work once again protection services should work again the only issues are on knox serviced apps such the health, samsung pass, and secure folder, you wont be available to use these features even if you derooted and reflashed official firmware, but that shouldn't really affect your device unless youre using a galaxy watch.

hey! i hope im not too late to the party to ask for help. I followed the steps in the video, but after downloading the files i need from frija, i only get one file with the name "SM-G955F_1_20210407180521_bzk411638m_fac.zip.enc4" I dont get for example the BL that i need to input on the odin software. i would greatly appreciate the help EDIT: I was able to get the files provided by an alternative link from someone you helped. The problem i have now is when i start up odin, i get a "FAILED" on the first bar. Something to mention is that when i plug in my phone with the button commands, I do not get the screen you get where you need to press volume up to continue. Instead mine is stuck on "An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software." I have tried with the Smart Switch software, and it doesnt recognize my phone, so thats a dead end as well.

I may be later but here qith my s20+ 5g. Im trying to update it from android 11 to 12 because i have tried all ways to update it and failed. Its has VZW service provider OS. Ive followed all steps but when i open my odin, i doesnt show my downloaded firmware files. What could be the problem?

I used this and some other videos to make sure im doing it correctly, worked fine for my Galaxy A51, once odin was done my phone just restarted normally.

Thanks for the tutorial! In case someone runs into the same problem as me and the update in Odin3 gets stuck at "PRISM": unplug your phone and restart it (volume down + side button hold 7 seconds, this will lead to a blue screen but don't worry), plug it back in and start/flash ONLY the HOME_SCS file by (un)ticking the boxes next to it. Then your phone will reboot just fine.

Hi, this don't work for me. I got FAIL every time. Sometimes "There is no PIT partition" but moste "Can't open the serial(COM) port" . The driver was installed via plug and play automatically ( but used Samsung_USB_Driver_v1.7.46.0 also in the end). On device manager Samsung Mobile USB is listed under USB Controllers. I used Odin 3.13.1, 3.14.1, 3.14.1patched and 3.14.4. but every time a fail. I tried this cause the device (SM-A40) got an Error: "could not do normal boot. Invalid kernel length"

holy shit man, you actually saved my ass big time when i tried booting exynos on my Samsung a205u only for it not to work, my phone may be reseted back to factory settings but i didnt really have pictures or games on there.
