How to Flip Open a Folding Fan 

Thank you. I got my mother's fan she never uses but bought in Thailand. (We're Dutch, so for me, that's a really cool fact cause personally I never got further than Germany on holidays lol.) Really glad. But now I'm sitting at home alone, I live on my own and asked for a fan as a birthday present but then my mother said "oh just have this one", and it keeps not properly close. It looks so easy on RU-vid! I'm really happy I found your video. My fan is probably stick because it hasn't been used in a long time. Maybe cleaning the wood will help. But I'm happy I found your video and now know fans not easily close is perfectly normal! :D Especially beautifull ones like mine. (It's not perfect and certaintely not as gorgeous as yours. GOD I love that one! But mine does have a nice pattern on it.)

i got a 900yen fan from a shop in japan and its pretty bad quality because obviously its a cheap fan but im desperately trying to get it to loosen up so i can do this lol

You can tell she's a big fan of folding fan because she giggles everytime it opens
