@@SpookLuke when I tornado spin I cant control Keep control of my car but I don’t know why when I go up for the air dribble I air roll right do the tornado spin then loose control of my car
Ur workshop maps have helped me so much. After using about two weeks of air roll left training without them, I have been able to do so much better. I started diamond at the start of the season and I’m now d3
I've got resets down pretty well, although I'm not the best at getting the final touch, even with the ball in the perfect position, so now I'm practicing getting touched before hand and then whipping out a reset, so I become more comfortable in every situation, and my resets are available in way more situations
Best tutorial channel right now. Man has shown me how to install custom maps and how to air roll properly. THANK YOU. (as long as flip reset goes, they might wait a little )
I'm c2 and have only now started trying to flip reset. Your 4th common mistake is that tip I needed. Almost hit a shot right away trying it like that. Thanks.
Hey, Spook. Ive been trying to learn the flip reset and have watched how many pros do the approach (Arsenal, squishy..). If im not mistaken, it looks like many of them are using reverse tornado-spin, to get the reset from any place on the field with ease. It is a lot to ask for, but a video on how to use reverse tornado-spin would be massive helpful:))
SUPER helpful video! I was getting them once out of every 10 shots, not its once every 4-5! Yoiu explained very well, and deserved my like and comment!! great video!
I have an Xbox elite controller so I use my paddles as left and right air roll and I keep boost on B. Really helps me so I can either of them when I go up on the left or right wall.
i learned how to flip reset is play 1 and i didn’t have good car control and now i’m almost i. champ and i realized practicing the flip reset actually max my car control a whole lot better in normal game situations
I'm GC3 and just coming to watch some of these vids to master some mechanics that I feel I'm lacking on. For example my flicks are terrible. This just shows that no matter what rank you are, you can still improve, even from people lower ranked than you. Stay humble guys!😌
Fun fact : my gold friends learned how to air dribble first in a private match with the slo mo game speed and i did too but with ceiling shots so maybe that means aerial mechanics should be practiced in slo mo private matched when first attempted?
amazing video, this helped me more than any other RU-vidrs because they all say practice training packs but it never actually worked for me. Thanks a lot cuz this helped a crap ton. If anyone sees this message in the comments and is unsure, this is very good for me who has been in champ 1 for 2 seasons now.
I probably shouldnt practice but i wanna. Light bulb moment for me was the force needed.. I got the reset 1/10 times when hitting the "reset button" but couldnt understand why 😂
If any1s still having trouble using directional air roll, Ive recently found out that Bakkes Mod can speed up the In-game time so when im practicing my ariels while using directional air roll i speed it up to get my mind used to that speed be4 going into matches. When i do go into a match and its regular game speed IT FEELS SOOO SLOW and im able to react and make those minor ajdustments so much fluently.
The only problem that i have is that i learn to take resets like a freestyler… UNDER the ball so i could go for musty or other stuff… but now i restarted playing and im trying to rank up and i realized, i can’t do a proper reset without, from muscle memory, going under the ball for the reset so its like relearning everything
If you’re like me and can get under the ball consistently but only get the flip 5/10 tries basically you’re not going faster than the ball so boost while you’re hitting the ball with the bottom of your car
I noticed you didnt mention the small break after hitting the ball. Sure, when you master it you can always get it, but making the small break and then jumping instead of going up to the wall was a game changer for me. Dont overlook the setup guys, the small break is a HUGE help. Also it lets you hit the ball at a nice 45° angle easier, instead of going on a straight line or even worse, from above the ball. You can hit it nevertheless, but if you use the break method, you will have a great advantage when you learn harder stuff like double resets.
When you said hitting the break, is it letting go of R2 / RT or really using L2/ LT but how long do you tap it, i know it's more like a feeling for you but if you could say idk 0.10s after you hit the ball or maybe like 0.30 ? I'm gettin the gist of it but it's still not consistant
@@Tintin9403 Uhm not sure honestly, that was 8 months ago, now I just don't break at all If you still do break tho, I'd say just tap it quickly, as fast as you can and just after hitting the ball. Hit>Tap break> Jump
The most important thing to learn is car control in flight. That's it. Knowing how to turn and angle into the ball is what changes the game for flip resets/mustys.
And here’s how to do it everytime.. not 7 out of 10 times or 9 out of 10 times but 10 out of 10 times After the slapping motion as described in the video you want to push your joystick up a little to create space and get ready to get an unpredictable shot.. for people who don’t know what to do with the flip afterwards this is best Looks like 8:20 Just getting the reset needs to be consistent which isn’t that hard
I’m terrible because I had to retrain every button And only tried to learn this flip rest Because I know how to air dribble pretty well but just can’t do it
i got a question u dont have to anser but do u drive and brake with ur left stick? if u do how u are a god if u do this and still be able to hit flip resets
I am gold.I can often flip reset but its not yet a certain things.Just asking, you know when pro's scoop the ball after getting the reset how do i do that
ay im excited to try these tips out. also question about the giveaway, you said ud add onto it in the video but never did. not sure if i missed it though :/
can you make a video showing how to get power after the reset, im a gc2-3 and can get the reset every time, but my hit after is usually very weak! Might not be enough for a full video but i cant find any other video talking about it!
I Average diamond 2 but rn Im diamond 3, and I need to master the Tornado role before I even come close to flip resets. Occasionally I hit the ball with the bottom of my cars getting the reset but after that Im a lost cause.
